It is awesome that the beta is back up and running the bad news is that it seems people cant get in with out an enourmity of issues and so forth i am going to sleep and giving this a shot in the morning, btw i will repost for gamer tag probably going to be Wraithguard.681

Don't panic, even if you do get on there's no much to do.

Only custom melee games work and there are no custom maps in yet.

well im one of the retards who deleted tho whole game and reinstalled it it to use the map editor and since the patches with the map editor didnt download im been bored as something extremely bored for a couple of week now.
also even so you can still play costum maps by yourself by using the map editor if i could log in

Oh man,
yesterday I just started the game like I did everyday for the last two weeks. When it actually started to download a new patch, I almost freaked out, calling friends giving them the good news, just to find out it is not working anyway...
Now I just logged in to my youtube account to watch a commentary while having a cup of coffee. The first thing I spotted were two videos telling me phase 2 just started! AND IT'S STILL NOT WORKING!
Too many ups and downs for my poor, sick heart...

or well see you guys later^^

I can live with the loss^^ the spanish just played better, I hate to say that but they just deserve the win^^

Not to mention Germany losing the semi-final :(. Too bad, I was hoping for a Dutch -German final. On the flipside we're are more likely to win from Spain.

ivan dont worry i have the beta and cant play and not becuase of some error my cpu wont run it i lag out of games instantly as they start also the sc2 beta is so messed up right now some people have -1 placement matches
Edit: also the editor and custom maps dont even work right now

i geuss im retarded when it comes to time conversion, but when is 11 AM PDT in terms of 24-hour central european summer time ? as far as i can tell, that means they'll deliver that ETA in 8-9 hours, that is 19-20:00 central european summer time

not even blzizard knows. but they will give us an estimate by 20:00 tonight. CET.

im not great at passing this sort of judgment, but im guessing they'll do their all to get it out by tonight; maybe some overtime to get it up and running before going home for the weekend.

i wouldnt hold my breath for tonight; if they make it, expect it up tomorrow morning.

We don't, the message I referred to in my previous post says they'll have more news around 20:00 today (GMT +1).

yep .. and an hour later for me :P I guess we will be lucky if the BETA is patched and servers are ready in EU on sunday. Isn`t phase 2 supposed to be a STRESS TEST to see how the servers will behave upon launching the actual game ? If so, Blizz messed up big time :D ... EU completly crashed, US being able to run several features only ... very buggy - was it like this when WoW was first around ?

I remember the WoW beta's being very smooth. Participated in US, Korean and European beta's for it. Then again Phase 1 for SC1 was pretty good as well. They just seem to be screwing things over for P2 :S.

You are right, US Beta was launched before the European one. But our US players experienced several issues with that version and we chose to fix those issues before launching Phase Two in other regions.
The main problems were fixed yesterday evening (EU time) and therefore we're now working on the non-EU versions.
After release we'll try to minimize these kind of differences between US and non-US versions, given the fact that the timezone issue will still be there and there will always be a minimum delay, just like we're doing with WoW patches and so on.

I can assure you that we're doing our best to bring you back into Beta as soon as possible, please bear with us :)
