I changed us to eu. Downloading the patch. This wont break things right?

You can go ahead and connect to EU if you want to get the patch right now.

I did the thing starcraftincgamers suggested and am patching through the EU servers. It's working so far, but cant be sure until Bnet is back for US.

According to Gosugamers, yes, the patch will contain new sounds including interface sounds and zerg sounds. Do not know how they "know" but they are pretty accurate in their reporting. I repeat this is just them saying it and no Blue has confirmed or denied as of yet

I wouldn't recommend downloading the EU patch if you have the US client, you could get your client all screwed up and reinstall the whole thing.
It's pointless since the game/B.net is not up. However upon logging in (just now) it just..kicked me back to my desktop instead of saying B.net does not recognize my client.
