Google translate kind of messes up the translation a bit so I added obvious words that I knew what they meant. So beta should be in within the first few days since some of the things that have been said would happen when phase 2 is ready have started. The patch has been started and the servers are up in as much as people can download the patch.
I really don't understand why they just couldn't give us a solid date right from the start. All this creates far more confusion then seems necessary.
Just my luck, I do all that work to manually patch and do the work around to test the editor and play offline, and they bring the patches back the day after.

What would you rather have, a date that is missed or a general idea of a date? I would say that more people would be mad if they had said "July 7th" and something had came up to make them not do it then. It is better to make someone wait then make someone upset over a missed deadline (I used to do the same thing in a job I had, the managers loved me for it since I never missed deadlines since there never were deadlines for all the special projects they had me do).

Not necessarily, a Blizzard poster has already said that the date of "early July" is still correct. They went on to say that it will not be pushed back to "Mid July". So if you use the standard 1-10 "early" 11-20 "mid" 21-31 "late" then the beta should be up in the next few days. The recent things about patches and messages changing is a positive progression to the next beta phase being soon.Quote:

Besides...its only a little after 1:30 at Blizz HQ. Plenty of time to bring the servers up.
Now, whether they stay up or not will be the real test.
on a side note does anyone know that if we add someone in the game will they then see our real name? because of the real id
If you add them as a Real ID friend then yes, it will work just like it did before the beta first went down and you will see the other person's name. If you just add the identifier then no, again, just like before the beta went down, you will not see the other person's name. The real ID thing that everyone is discussing is for the Blizzard Forums only.Quote:
