EDIT
Then... well we seem to have an explanation here... if you see my avatar it's SC1's animation and the psionic emanations flow from orange to red.
if that depends on their energy and the original color is black then protoss are just like gray dudes?
or this evil alien cat?
About the voice... I still hope they bring back the old one... Zeratul without a creepy deep voice is not Zeratul...
Here is an example of what their actual physical eyes look like. http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0...anis_large.jpg
Also I don't think you can really base what characters actually look like on their small sc1 portraits. Zeratul looks completely different than his SC1 portrait. Not just his eyes.

Ouch!!! :( I... I just can't believe it...
No, that is the same actor as the second video I believe. The SC1 voice actor died.
Re: Huge CGI and voice over improvements
That's one of the cinematics I was talking about :D
Re: Huge CGI and voice over improvements
Also remember that the first video is recorded off of a screen in a huge auditorium. The second one is an actual released video.

Well, I always thought we had a double cannon there: you had one appeareance with cinematics and a similar yet not exactly equal in-game appeareance...
Now that you point that cinematic out... well seems like not just artanis but all protoss have that kind of eyes... which is unnoticeable with the ingame portraits.

Do you mean the 1'st and 2nd videos use the same voice actor? that can't be! The 1'st one sounded a lot more like the SC1 actor, the 2nd one was quite different!

The first one was also recorded off screen with huge booming speakers in an auditorium. It's going to sound much deeper than the second one solely because of that fact.
Here is the same actor as the second video in the intro cinematic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRa8MDeq9H8

Hmm? no... I just don't get what's wrong, the argument of it being recorded within a huge auditorium doesn't seem enough to me... the voices sound too different to me...
Anyways, the one in the cinematic you post is good, I think I've seen that cinematic with another voice actor... which didn't sound as close to the original Zeratul as this one...
Re: Huge CGI and voice over improvements
It's the same actor. Trust us. The actor who was up on the panel is the one that did that video and he's still the credited actor for Zeratul.

If there is another voice actor out there that they had doing the voice earlier, the "other" cinematic you're talking about that you don't like would have been the same voice actor as the first video in the OP.
Re: Huge CGI and voice over improvements
It's just a combination of being filmed off screen and lower quality that's causing the confusion. You have to listen to the voice patterns instead of just the sound.

Selective? Yes.
So why doesn't Zeratul cloak? Kerrigan is probably a detector, and of course he wanted Raynor to see him. And I doubt Blizzard could make a Zeratul fight look cool if he was cloaked.
Zeratul can definitely still cloak. Indeed it's a key ability in the first mission he appears in.
Zeratul probably used a cloaked vessel to approach the Hyperion (it's shown that star relics can cloak in the StarCraft comic) and he can blink (an ability he uses in the game).
