Re: IGN Puts Up SC2 Website
As if there weren't enough sc2 fansites.
Re: IGN Puts Up SC2 Website
Well this should be entertaining. I figured it was coming - and I'm amused.

Re: IGN Puts Up SC2 Website
I think this site has existed for a while as planetstarcraft. Nobody visited it.
Re: IGN Puts Up SC2 Website
fails keep adding up...
sorry for being mean at another website, but I can't help it.
My favourite till now:
Go to the community tab and learn ways to contribute to the HALO community :P
Re: IGN Puts Up SC2 Website
That's got to be horribly out of date. Mothership has time bomb, planet cracker and share energy. Infestor and Raven both have older models. And the Drop Pod is listed as an ability of the Ghost.
Meh, I think I'll stick with more accurate unit databases...
*cough*
Re: IGN Puts Up SC2 Website
That's why you go to starcraft 2 armory. IGN must not have gotten around to updating their site yet.
Re: IGN Puts Up SC2 Website
That's quite sad really. You'd think they could just rip off other, and better, sites for information

Six Big Reasons to Play StarCraft II
2. Battle.net 2.0
AAAAAAAAAHHHHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA
Quote:
The biggest selling points for Battle.net 2.0, at least for the near future, are all about StarCraft II. There are player profiles with custom icons, a much-improved chat interface with the Real ID buddy list system, intelligent and automatic player-game matchmaking and associated player rankings, achievements for both single-player and multiplayer, and an amazing new way to share and sell fan-made campaigns through the StarCraft II Marketplace.
AHHAHAHAHAHAHA
Quote:
Blizzard is moving beyond the aged IRC-style chat system of the old Battle.net and introducing a more friendly and modern system for communicating all across its games.
HAHAHAHAHA
Quote:
World of Warcraft users have already been chatting with StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Beta testers through the new Real ID system that works more like an instant messaging service.
The most exciting and most frequently used feature for most players will be the game matchmaking system that ranks players and sets them against similarly skilled opponents. It really makes it faster and easier to jump into whatever kind of game you're looking for, be it 1v1, 2v2, FFA, or other options. Of course, the custom game option remains so you can play with who you choose or practice without being ranked.
AHAHAHAHAHAHA
Quote:
You may be even more impressed with the StarCraft II Marketplace, designed to let players share maps and mods made with the even more powerful StarCraft II Galaxy Editor. The Marketplace will allow players to not only share maps for free, but in the future possibly even charge for them should they choose to do so. Blizzard is still working out those details, though there may be certain strictness to just which mods are eligible to be purchasable.
HAHAHAHAHAH
*wipes tears from eyes*
Re: IGN Puts Up SC2 Website
Rofl @ Samespe4's comment on the "Six Big Reasons..." page -
"Actually anybody that knows that the beta was just that, a beta, would also know that they were testing battle.net 2.0, so its very likely that it will be improved for the release of the game and probably over time after the release as well.
Maybe you should leave the talking to professionals such as those at IGN, who know what they're talking about after all..."
I was tempted to make an IGN account just to ream his blind IGN fan rage out of him.
But I'm bigger than that, so I'll just make fun of him here.
