Anyone else following it? What are your impressions so far? What are you looking forward too.

My thought so far: Kinect is better than I thought it would be. I'm really not sold yet but their sport and adventure games look decent. I would enjoy playing those with my gf I guess. That kinectimal thing is pretty retarded though. I'd rather buy a real pet honestly. Anyways, I'm kinda disappointed by the fact that 80% of the conferences so far revolve around shooting games. Yes yes, shooting games are fun but this is really getting ridiculous. Where are my RPG? At least the new CGI trailer for The old republic was pretty sick. Dead space 2 looks also promising.

Ooh, they're showcasing Gears of War 3 gameplay. I know it's not as famous as some other shooters, but it looks amazing.

Brotherhood looks pretty badass tho.

The only thing that made me excited was Metal Gear Rising.... I'll tell you what else is rising...

Agreed. Usually they keep the crazy stuff at the end of the conference. Then again the conference was pretty much over in another sense after Brotherhood. Some will argue that Driver, Rayman, Project dust and Ghost recon were also worth mentioning but I really wasn't impressed at all by those titles.

That was a epic trailer however I am worried that they are simply swapping out characters in the MGS4 engine, it just didn't look like it was a engine that was made for that type of sword swinging action.

I got my eyes on Metal Gear Rising (ay screwball dont forget our lil MGO bout) and Dead Space 2. Like what I see so far from E3

I haven't forgotten, still haven't got my ps3 repaired yet, makes me sad my ps3 games are gathering dust.

Edit: Im offically excited to see this years antics performed by the Regginator, what will he do this year.

FUCK YEAH new Donkey Kong game and its a side scroller, epic music intact, color me fucking excited.
Donkey Kong Country Returns, out this holiday.

Nintendo 3DS the moment we were waiting for, no glasses needed for the 3DS, analog stick 3d camera and a 3.5 inch wide screen on top.
the position of the D pad has me worried
it has a motion/gyro sensor.
Can play 3d Hollywood movies.
Kid Icarus fpr the 3DS and holy shit the graphics!, seriously gamecube quality graphics.
It searches for wifi hotspots and downloads new content when its in sleep mode.

over 20 companies making games for 3ds including Capcom with Resident Evil, Konami with Metal Gear Solid Square Enix with Kingdom Hearts, street fighter, cant keep up with the broken english and images, madden, Dj hero, Saints Row.
the list is huge, I didnt even get them all.
3DS's chained to hot chicks for all the event attendies.

Ok I officially love Nintendo again, I'll clean this post up in a bit I'm going to go drool on the 3DS now.

This is the FIRST thing I thought of too, when I saw it. I'm speculating by how the slide pad is where the d-pad "used" to be that it is now the main form of control, while the d-pad is secondary like it is on the GC controller. Just speculation though.

It also instantly reminded me of the mini analogue stick on the PSP.

Watching the Nintendo Conference made me feel like it was the 80's and 90's again

Ok, this thing is really slick, I'm impressed by how the gyro movements worked marvelously in the Metal Gear Solid Demo, the d-pad is actually ok it will need a bit of getting used to tho other than that I am really impressed with this machine.

I only saw Nintendo's and Sony's conferences. I heard MS conference sucked really bad. Nonetheless, I really liked Nintendo's upcoming games for both the 3DS and the Wii, I would give them a 8/10 this year. Sony's presentation had a shitload of trailers only, nothing really solid til the end, and that was it. The PS move was fantastic as they showed if off, its basicially the Wii with PS3 graphics (and how can you go wrong there...). The one game that blew me away was seeing Twisted Metal...::DrrRRRooLLL::: Sony gets a 7/10 this year.

Well I couldn't watch sony's conference live so I was just able to watch it today. It was ok. Move didn't impress me at all. The only 2 things that were good for me out of this conference were sorcery and of course freaking twisted metal! I can't wait to play it!

Nintendo was pure awesome this year. Donkey kong, golden eye, golden sun, Kid Icarus, more Metroid other M, the 3ds. You can't go wrong with this stuff. It's a shame that rare is not gonna work Donkey Kong and Golden eye since they were bought by microsoft but oh well, it should still be fun.

Overall, Nintendo is clearly the winner of this year. I'd give them an 9/10. I'd tie Microsoft with Sony with a 7/10 because they basically brought the same kind of stuff to their show.

I jumped for joy on Donkey Kong and Twisted Metal, good times. I am not sold on the Move, sadly.

Move is actually pretty cool, so much more precise than Wii motion plus, I'm currently in line to see the kinect just so I can see how it compares to the other two.
