because Dawn of War is an individual package where Starcraft 2 is a server client game, even in single player. You need to authenticate your game with battle.net's closed server to even play a single player.
Sure, it can be cracked, but it's not as simple as copy protection bypassing. It's going to be fake server response in theory. Just saying it's going to be harder.... therefore more time.
Because Dawn of War 2's beta wasn't a beta, it was just a demo. It had already gone gold just after the beta started. The AI won't be fully developed yet. DoW2 is the exception, not the rule. I can't think of any other betas that have had AI. Even if we did get AI it would be rudimentary at best.Quote:
