I just played a game with a very, very drastic error - my minimap was completely blank. All blank, couldn't see a thing. I double-checked the minimap settings, checked options, nothing worked. As you can see in the screenshot I saved I had to leave, I was playing blind. I tried to ping the map just to see what happened, and the ping, no matter where I clicked it, showed up in the bottom-right corner.
Anyone else ever have this happen?
This has happen once for me. I think there is a post on the B.net about it!
Yeah, found and posted there. It freaked me out though.
Minimap is always black when I watch replays and stays black afterwards in actual games; always restart SC2 after watching replays.
I got this with pacth 13... it's really annoying. :(
this happens to me someimes on the 3v3 map
also, evey time i watch a replay, the minimap is black.
make a post on BNet about it.
.. blizz are already aware & lookng into it though, but they seemed sorta clueless as to what'd be causing it at first.
... anyone on NA server having any such problems?
I heard about this happening to people but it never happened to me... yet. Let's hope it doesn't. If the mini-map was black and then the game crashed that would be so annoying.
I see that you're playing on low settings. Maybe this is something that only happens on low. Anyone else can confirm this? I personally never had this problem but I play on high/ultra.
I've never had the problem and I play on low, and I think only a minority are having this problem... it's weird though.
I had it happen once and I play on medium/high. What is worse about it, is you cant use it at all either... clicking anywhere on it results in either sending the unit to a corner of the map (if you issue an order via the minimap) or dragging your screen to a corner of the map (if you try to left click and look around).Quote:
