Cannot download Authentication, Try again

I keep getting message. It is quite annoying, anyone know a work around?

I had this problem as well. Are you running Vista? If so disable UAC, this fixed the problem for me.

I am running on a Mac OS X 10.6. I'll try my Win7 machine tomorrow.

This is related to some of the game being blocked. Spyware, virus scanners, etc seem to be part of the cause as well. I am not saying this will resolve it for ya, but it should be able to give you a "start" of sorts to look at. I turned my avg off a moment and was able to get in right after.

Natural firewalls (Such as UAC) also have been cited as potential problems.

I'm on Snow Leopard. I've turned off my firewall. But this is a patch 13 issue and hasn't been a problem since patch 1-12. So I dunno. It's definitely a small problem.

Patch 13 is probably one of the worst releases, dunno why they're releasing the game on July 27, they've still got a long way to go.

I'm running Windows Vista 32-bit and I have UAC turned off as well as my anti-virus and anti-spy ware programs and I still have the problem. What I had to do to fix this problem is go into my program data and delete the Starcraft 2 beta folder then restart my computer.

Same problem for me, on a MAC... has there been mention of a fix anywhere that I just haven't come across yet?
