Blizzard has really started to drool.
I feel the force field change was inevitable. I mean, that was really frustrating having a 200/200 force and yet being unable to past a simple choke because of a few sentries. Thumbs ups.
About the frenzy thing, I am not sure it is necessarily only usable on high tech units, roach get 20 attack (instead of 16) and immune to slow for 30 seconds, that's a lot of time, for 25 energy (that's 8 roach per infestors). Yes, it's not usable when you have a lot of units but on small fights im not sure it's too small to factor in.
My favorite change was the overseer, I mean I missed so much the corruptor ability, now it's on the overseer, that's even better, i'll have a reason to use overseers now (hence better detection). I personnaly think infested terran are only meant to be used in the worker line (same dps as roach isn't that small, having 2 or 3 roach dropped in the probe line is significant for the cost of the overseer) or used randomly: how many time you scouted a single scv trying to expand gods know where (on an island) totaly unprotected.
For the ultra nerf, I don't know, I saw once the ultralisk buffed (from patch 12 I think): he was good. I don't know now but I like now the force field thing (that was necessary for ZvP).
Overall, it's thumbs up, can't wait to see all this in action.
I hope to god that infested terran and building disable thing is swapped in energy...
Given most of his comments I assume it’s negative.Quote:

What does that mean?
I think hes referring to their lack of brain power, coming up with nothing but stupid crap.
If Frenzy is to stay a single unit ability, they should just give it to the Ultralisk as a timered ability (like Blink). There's really no point in having it on the Infester because the only unit that it's worth using on is the Ultralisk, unless it costs so little energy that you can spam it on most of your army.
I think another problem is maybe there are just too many cooks in this particular Blizzard kitchen. SCII's development team is a good deal larger than SCI's was. They are trying to balance this game by committee and by analyzing an enormous amount of data from the beta. That has got be an almost impossible task. Imagine all those angry programmers, angry data reviewers, and angry game designers all trying to arrive at a finished product. Scary scary thought. But they are doing it, nonetheless.
But honestly, who are we to judge Blizzard. I don't think there are many, if any, people on this board who have participated in and/or managed the creation of a game on the scale of SCII. Let alone the many very excellent Blizz games that have come before it. Blizz might be drooling, but that's better than any of us are proving capable of.
Wow, good point. You could fill the sky with Overseers, immediately produce hundreds of units that hit ground and air, and then provide detection for them. After that, you can start building your real army. :)Quote:
The overseer has major imbalance.
It's a 0 supply unit that's battle capable.
You could easily break 200 supply by spamming overseers.
I suppose Overseers will have to take up supply now (as well as remove it when created.)
Hmmm....so unusual from Scorpio....shock....horror....disbelief.Quote:
