Collector's edition selling out.

Amazon is no longer taking pre orders and all the Game Stop's in my area have stopped as well. Looks like they really only made a limited number or they want to leave a few of the out there just to chance. I hope everyone who wanted the CE has it locked in!

I don't have mine confirmed yet - I'm very sad! :(

I'm putting all my hopes on a particular store now....I just hope they can deliver because otherwise, I don't know what I'd do if I want to have the Collector's Edition on July 27th itself :(.

Yeah, I'm gonna preorder my collectors edition at my local gamestop store this saturday. Let's hope that there are some left. I'd be truly devastated if not ;)

I actaully don't know how my pre-order works. I just left my name and phone number...... I didn't actaully pay anything. I just asked if you got sc2 beta if you pre-order :)
(stating a false name and number would get you a free key xD)

I guess I just have to se if I get to "chose" the game when I get there of I get "forced" to buy original.

Not a surprise, really. The only collector's editions of any games I have seen in store after release are Madden XX and Age of Empires III, and a few of the musical games whose special editions come with peripherals/instruments. I bought AoE III's. :) As for SC2's, I reserved mine the day the release date was announced. :)

Already pre-ordered and paid for mine awhile ago :)

Bought mine at Blockbuster for the super cheap (here in Europe anyways) amount of 599 DKK (danish crowns) because they'd advertised wrongly on the net. 599 DKK is around 104 $, but here the CE has costed about +/- 800 DKK (134$) most of the time. It's only now that the price has lowered, and that's still 50 DKK (8,50 $) more expensive than what I got it for. ;P

I saw lot's of CE"s in stores after the release
At Zabi; you got yours from hmv.com?
as far as I can tell they are also running out of stock, amazon.co.uk and play.com have it for 70 Pounds as well
ordered mine from HMV

I don't think they are selling out I just think stores are running their initial allotment of them. There should be more added to Amazon and all the other places before release.

And Blizzard will most likely be selling them on their site as well after the initial release. I"m sure they will have quite a few.
