I did this back when beta was announced. I feel some pretty strong nostalgia for these videos despite them being only a sequence of images and not an interactive game.
SC2 was awesome.
Now its all fucked up :(
hmm...the soul hunter thing where it got stronger is like the void ray...although it gets strong over time instead of being based on kills...

I've been following SC2's development since the beginning - I regularly watch the old trailers and stuff, too :p.
Personally, I don't feel that SC2 is any less impressive than during any of the races' reveals. I remember feeling that I had no idea what to expect, but I did think we were going to get a 'different' sequel, like how WarCraft 3 is almost completely different from its predecessors in terms of gameplay.
I was a bit surprised to see that StarCraft 2 was going to be a 'direct sequel' to the original, but once I understood that, the stuff I saw made a lot of sense, and what we have now isn't really all that different.
I want a reworked overload back on the phoenix.
