Its not about perfection. Its about adequacy. And I don't feel SC2 is adequate. Especially the Zerg.

Not even adequate?... At this point, I think it at least meets the original in quality. And thats judging multiplayer. The singleplayer could FAR surpass the original.
If they held the game off for another month or two, I couldn't see them doing a whole lot to the point where it could change someones mind on how FUN the game is.
Again, I know its just your opinion, but I think the Zerg are fun, and I wasn't a zerg player in Broodwar. I do think the Zerg were purposely stripped down (no Lurker equivalent) somewhat because they will be expanded on later. At the core though, I think the queen's role is nice, the units have niches, and I love the Nydus network. Balance wise, there's only so much they can do with beta.
Thank God. I'll be out of summer school by then. I was afraid I'd have to chose between homework and StarCraft 2. We all know which would win.
How radical can patches be? I just wonder if they may decide, somewhere along the way, "Y'know what, we finally have the idea that will make the zerg perfect!" Would they be able to implement new units/structures/mechanics via patch?...
Also, assuming the beta ends no earlier than July 17th, the beta will have lasted five months. How can anyone consider this a short beta? Past Blizzard games had that much time and didn't even have the extra years that StarCraft 2 had.
Whelp, StarCraft's Facebook page has made it official. Rejoice.

5 months would make it the standard blizzard beta test length, plus SC2 was probably the most refined product blizzard ever had once testing started.
I think they just don't view them as problems Archer.Quote:
Its kind of sad cause there overlooking all the other things that they should be fixing while they still can.
