I'm just trying to figure out how to make some UMS maps and i would like to test to see if they work. Is there a way to play the maps we make? Or is the editor just for terrain design at this point?

I'm having trouble understanding the editor. Where the hell is the starting position beacon? I have no way to designate player starting positions.

I don't know if that's in general at release, but I got that to mean that you can test it with friends now.

If you look at the patch notes, it says that the editor is in our hands but publishing is not allowed yet and will come in a "later beta patch".
Im confused, is it possible to publish privately for friends or is it not? :o
NO publishing feature exists at this point. You may test the map against a computer opponent, but in on, way, shape or form can you play against another player as of yet.
