Your funniest games

Describe some of your funniest games. I've had a few that stand out.

PvP on Metalopolis
I rushed to void rays while my opponent rushed to dark templars. I knew they were coming because I had a probe running around in his base, so began building cannons at ramp. Somehow they got in and began attack my probes, just as my rays started vaporizing his. We eventually wiped out each others base but had scattered pylons all over the map to stay alive. The game became a race to see who can destroy all the pylons first, which has extra challenging because both of us were being revealed. I ended up getting them first becuse I had air.

PvT on Scrapyard
Funniest game was when my opponent decided to planetary fortress rush me. He floated it over next to my gateways and dropped it down, while I was distracted chasing his 3 probes which were for some reason dancing around my base. Next thing I know I see it upgrading and chased after it with zealots. He then built a barracks near it. The fortress eventually took out most of my base and zealots, and I had just enough to build a few gates in the back line. His marines and SCV's were chasing my 4 zealots around, trying to lure them back to the PF. Eventually I split them off, letting them chase me in one direction while I sent the other two following and pincer attacked him. He then GG'd.

I had a FFA last night (testing my connection, the game wasnt going past the loading screen for me, so since FFA is non-ranked)

On one of those 4 player maps, the one with 2 gold expos in the middle of the map. I was zerg, with 3 terrans lol (normally in SC1 id be pissed, but since zerg is overpowered I was ok with it)

I am at bottom, and send my ovie to middle left.. To my surprise, I dont see anything there.. No CC, No scvs, nothing. I thought maybe my computer was still having issues and I was in a custom game, not a FFA.. Oh well, kept playing. I just fast teched to Mutas off 2base, once I had 15ish and upgrades on the way, I just did the rounds to the other bases.

Killed all of one terrans supply depots, then left him be. Went to the other terran, killed his CC and then he left to game. Not like I had to try hard to beat these guys. Anyways, so I sent my ovie back to that original base where there was nothing, and surprisingly there was a CC there with SCVs now, but not from the other two guys.

I figured he just lifted to hide for abit and be funny, then came back home. But I sent my mutas thru the middle of the map, and it ran over his REAL base, full of marines that killed all my mutas. So the guy lifted ASA the game started, and went to the gold mineral base! It was basically mined out. Surprisingly, altho I had a small suspection about it.

Not to worry, my next wave of mutas with upgrades destroyed his expos, then harassed him to death before he was basically dead. Then I finished off the other remaining guy, went back to finish the sneaky terran. He tapped out, but said he deserved points for creativity lol which I think he did.

Anyways, point of the story; Lifting to a gold mineral base as terran is actually somewhat viable.. altho only in a FFA imo, and that opens you up to be attacked by more than 1 person if they are any decent. It was just an interesting game either way.

Check out the SCL YouTube channel where Sahara cast a PvT game where the Terran did exactly this. It was certainly a viable strategy, but he mined out the mins very quickly.

Hid a ghost in this one guys base and I kept nuking him and then hiding behind the light of sight blocker to regain energy- he obviously didn’t know about the mechanic and couldn’t kill him for the entire game. I then proceeded to build 8 command centres just outside his base before floating them in to his and turning them into PF’s. Good fun. :P

Penned a guy into his main with cannons before he could expand and he eventually mined himself out and I let one zealot slowly chip away at his buildings.

I played a game with ZealotPowerade on Lost Temple. I rushed to DT's, building no other units and only the required tech. If he had scouted or attacked me at all I would have lost.

Any game I play with Hamshank is an funny one :p.

Actually, we had a 2vs2 where he got rushed at killed at the start, but fortunately, our two opponents were quite noobish, so I was able to take them both on and win :p. Hamshank saved some of his drones, so I could have given him 300 minerals to start a new Hatchery, but I forgot :p.

2v2, my partner lagged out, but I still carrier stomped two terrans and won.

I've played TvT on scrapyard and it was just after i watched that epic dual planetary fortress rush, so idecided to try the PF rush for myself. So when i had enough gas i lifted my CC and send my SCV to the frontline, but was i in a shock when our CC met in the midle and i found our that he also went for an PF rush :D

We both stoped our CC in the midle confused and thinking what now , and raced towards the middle island to plant our cc there, the person that would claim that island would be the winner , since he would have a huge economical advantage. All while our SCV where in an epic micro deathmatch duel :p
So it comed down to an epic CC race:p

I won the SCV micro battle, but i lost the CC race :( , i thought about going back to my starting position and planting the CC there, but the CC moved so slowly (and it felt like ages to me, before it reached my base) so i just GG, but not before i destroyed all of his buildings that he left behind :D

Perfecttear wins this thread. The rest of us can go home now. :p
