Blizzard wont be at E3. They have been in the past but now they just have their own convention, Blizzcon.
but the good news is e3 is bigger this year then in the past 3 years. atleast by the number of games shown.
E3 used to excite me, but in the past few years I have become a Blizzard elitist snob. Very few other games get my interest.
Ghostbusters might be fun this summer though.
Oh posh, there are plenty of other creative, innovative developers out there. Bioware is practically going to own E3.Quote:

Not to mention Arkham Asylum, which looks great, and Insomniac's latest addition to the R&C series. And there's a HUGE chance Kojima is announcing another Metal Gear game.
lol kojima has put a timer of a timer to a timer for a timer, and its not gonna be mgs at the end mark my words :)
And we thought we had it bad. :pQuote:

MGS5 for 360! PWNT! :)
Blizzard was not at E3 this year but here is some info I got from their pre E3 press conference (link- http://e3.gamespot.com/story/6210427...-webcast-live) :[6:56] Morhaime says that more about the games will be revealed at BlizzCon and encourages everyone to attend the August show, which sold out yesterday.
[6:56] Morhaime closes with a cinematic cutscene video from Starcraft II's single-player campaign.
I wonder what that cinematic is and I wonder if they are planing to show that one at blizzcon? sounds good to me can't wait to see it
so has anyone seen how swtor fans got sith-rolled?
there was supposed to be 20-30min gameplay, and mods said watch tor stream, and then 2 old guys came out, aka whitey and baldy, and talked about nothing.
ppl went crazy on official forums, making fun of time traveling stormtroopers and 8 races, bringing the form down , and then mods locking the creation of new threads.
the comments of angry fans was funny shit
You mean the IGN feed where they showed absolutely nothing new?
And simply repeated stuff that had been mentioned on all the other developer videos?
...yeah.
Even Mass Effect 2 showed part of their demo by the end of the event.
Er... eh. I doubt it's anything new to us. Or at least I hope it isn't. I feel like I've seen more than enough of the plot, and unfortunately I can't help myself if it is a new campaign preview.Quote:

StarCraft can wait, I want Dragon Age NOW...
COD:MW2 looks sick
RUSE seems pretty interesting
Majesty 2 seems fun as it could be
Glad Tropico is getting a new version
Fallout 3 new DLC is looking awesome and very interesting
I was disappointed by mass effect 2, seems too much like a generic shooter, where are all the talk options, investigation and the feel of exploration?
Moneky island being redone is amazing news and should be great fun.
I would say that your post is correct...but when I read this part:
you are insane, Mass Effect pwns all cRPG games ever made and ME2 will continue to rape anyone trying to achieve something in this category of games
It's all about the story gameplay is secondary.
You are speaking heresy.
Well. Not too many demos show off exploration... and we saw two dialogue trees and even a new way to do dialogue trees. (i.e. A way to interrupt the enemy soldier) So I don't know what you mean by that.Quote:

As for investigation... um... what do you mean? In the sense of a mission or in the sense of a dialogue tree? Because we got an 'investigate' option in one of the dialogue trees, the person playing the demo just decided not to go into it. As for missions... again, not going to show those off in a short demo.
The thing with ME2 is that in ME1, the RPG elements and the dialogue options were fine. The story was great, they have no reason to impress us in this field because they're known as the best when it comes to plot and dialogue. What was bad, was the combat. The shooting was clunky, and there weren't a whole lot of options.
So what are they going to show off more in a demo? Their brand new streamlined shooting mechanics? Or their dialogue trees which are as credible and impressive as ever?
Anyone else REALLY impressed with the atmosphere and writing in Arkham Asylum? Dini is really on his game.
About the Asylum, saw it at GT.com and I am impressed with the game.
It seems that they put alot of sweat into that game.
Mass Effect's story wasn't great... it was awesome and even without the multiplayer of any kind I give the game 10-/10
I am waiting for (What I saw E3)
Metal Gear Rising (PS3/360/PC)
Metal Gear Peace Walker (PSP)
L4D2 (PC for me though) - I am PISSED how L4D got shafted and it's FULL retail.. 59.99$...
Meh I'm a CS guy at heart, Mod Warfare2 looks nice but I didn't like how the gameplay worked in COD4.
Lovin' Arkham Asylum. Hating that The Joker is only PS3 exclusive.
