StarCraft comic #1
Well, it's out.
I bought a copy yesterday even though I have a subscription since a subscription means you get it two and a half weeks late. Boo!
So, interesting elements include ... the return of Cerberus from StarCraft: Loomings, which the comic is calling the new Cerberus Program.
As Chris Metzen alluded to in StarCraft Legacy's exclusive Lore Q&A, the squad did survive the destruction of the Confederacy.
I don't want to give a massive plot spoiler (unless people beg, that is) but if anyone has questions, you can ask in this thread.

Re: StarCraft comic #1
Interesting.
What comic are you referring to though?

Re: StarCraft comic #1
I'm interested in hearing spoilers since I'll likely never read the comic.

Re: StarCraft comic #1
Just like WoW has a comic, StarCraft has one too. It's once a month for at least twelve issues; the first one came out this Wednesday.
I'm eager for it, since the editor tells us that the series will show a lot of the StarCraft universe, lay the groundwork for the on-going story, and the comic's first arc as a transition between the first and second game. (It takes place in 2502.)

Re: StarCraft comic #1
How does the art compare to frontline? If it's ugly I'm not gonna get it...
-
Re: StarCraft comic #1
Frontline has so many different artists, how can someone answer the question?
The comic pages are bigger and in color. Does that help?

Re: StarCraft comic #1
Hmm, in your opinion how does the art compare to Frontline: Why we Fight?
Because IMO in "Why we Fight" the art was great and stayed true to the Starcraft feeling, with Starcraft proportions (Unlike the one with the Protoss experimenting with creep, wtf is with their super skinny chins?)

Re: StarCraft comic #1
There won't be any protoss in the comic until issue 3, so that's not a good example...
The Cerberus Goliaths look really cool. Hell, Cerberus in general looks really cool.
The technology looks the same (eg marine armor, the one shot we got of Wraiths, the ultralisk in the first panel -- which for some reason is a StarCraft II ultralisk).
The only bad artwork IMO was much of the fight with the Cerberus Goliaths, since the whole scene were red, Cerberus wore red armor, the War Pigs were wearing red armor and you couldn't really see their faces.
