Oh man i cant wait to see this on action.
!!! where'd you get that???
although tbh, it looks kind of like they just ripped off the top of the immortal and called it a dragoon.
Famous Blizzard MPQs
I knew where the MPQs where and lost interest, at first. But, after the patch, I actually wanted to know where the main beta MPQs where.
Anyone knows where you can find the main MPQs?
Wow! That looks amazing! I really, really hope Blizzard touches up the Protoss to have all their units on par with the Zealot and Dragoon.
thank you KadajSouba .looks better than stalker , great.
What a badass! "The remaining Dragoons have become Immortals" my BUTT! I fully expect to see some of these bad boys in the singleplayer campaign! :)
Seeing that wireframe made me think, "why not just get rid of stalkers and bring back dragoons with blink?"
Oh man, I can't wait to see/hear the Dragoon of SC2. That was always one of my fave units from the original game. So ominous...

Ooh, I hope Valkyries show up, too! I'd love to give the Viking's air mode the Valkyrie's air attack for a custom game. :>
Glad I can finally chat about these now. :D
I was stoked when I was the Dragoon & Corsair, I'm looking forward to seeing them.
It's interesting that the Brutalisk & the Old Infestor Model aren't like the other Zerg Wireframes. Still kinda sad that the Swarm Guardian model doesn't look to have made it in, but oh well.
I'm kinda curious as to why the main icons look like they're drawn, rather than going for a more realistic look:

Was the Corsair called by another name at one time? The one that looks like a Corsair is called an Escort.
The SC2 dragoon looks exactly like the dragoons from SC:BW cinematics. I guess it took 12 years for Blizzard to be able to make units look the way they want them too.
Since they were just testing Escorts, they probably didn't bother to give them a full design job. So they took an off-the-shelf model (Corsair) and called it an Escort.
where'd you gets pictures , please more...
I still can't believe people are getting more excited about news of in-campaign Dragoons than confirmation of these in-game models:

Has anyone been able to datamine any models from the beta yet?
Looking at the portraits, am I the only one who wants to see the High Templar and Executor portraits switched?
Corsair looks poorly modelled.
Originally, for the release, the Protoss Advisor portrait was what we see now as the High Templar portrait.
Personally, to me, the current Advisor portrait looks more like what a High Templar should be; covered in robes and adornments. Personally, I think the High Templar model itself should look more ethereal and have a sense of flow to it, and that their death animation should be different and more dramatic than a Zealot's, but it might be too late for such things.
does not appear on my computer..go crazy
RIGHT. Now I can ask this too-
Who's Colonist Kachinsky?
http://sclegacy.com/images/uploaded/...ky-large01.png
X
Wasn't Kachinsky mentioned at a Blizzcon sneak peak of single player? Remember when it was first shown that we would buy our technology. Raynor walked in and I think it was Kachinsky who was talking to Swann then left. The colonist part is just a title. I mean they show Tosh and call him colonist as well when we know that he is a ghost.
Dragoon i just Immortal with the top part removed. Nothing new to see here.
Which I recognize, I'm just saying it doesn't fit what the unit represents.
When I see the portrait, I don't think, "That's a High Templar."
When I see the Advisor, I think, "That's a High Templar." The question was whether or not I was the only one, and it seems I'm not.
The subtext of the question was, "Does it feel right?" Not, "Does it match the unit if you zoomed in on it?"
Not true. The model used for the portrait is created independently of the in-game unit's model. That's why you can see the pilots for Terran vehicles and why the Sentry's portrait has the tail of its old model. If the portrait was indeed simply a close-up of the in-game model, neither of these instances would be possible.
