There's something weird about Starcraft 2

Playing other RTSes and then playing Starcraft 2, you feel that there is some weird unnecessary lag. There seems to be a microsecond between you input the action from your keyboard + mouse to it happening. Anyone else getting this?

I've set the hardware mouse to on, there is a big improvement but still there seems to be a micro lag when you're playing.

Also, for the sound, these are definitely place holders / unfinished sounds because there is simply way too much silence. There isn't enough responsiveness in terms of sound, sometimes you get way too much silence.

Seems perfectly responsive to me. It must be your internet connection.

While there is a slight delay between clicking and response, SC2 still is far more responsive to me than most online RTS games. For instance, C&C3 often felt really sluggish, even on my school's lightning-fast connection.

SC2 is very sluggish for me, though I suspect it's my internet connection. Even if that's the case though, it's pretty lame as it should be perfectly fine when playing only against a computer opponent (which it isn't) :(.

Even playing with AI, it feels like there is a lag.

Your commands are still being bounced off of your ISP and sent back to your client.

Yeah, lazy hierarch guy sometimes doesn't say that you don't have enough resources.
But control works perfectly - my click is much more precise than in BW though I haven't been playing for a month before beta! =)

Even when you're only playing against AI in the beta it is still acting as if you are the host of the game with another player, sending packets out to your ISP which are then sent back to you and if your internet connection isn't the greatest there will be a noticeable lag to your commands.

I'm on a 15mbps connection and there is no noticeable delay.

One word - Beta.
