Do they regenerate slowly in combat as well?
They didn't regen at all during combat.
Nice, back to the original (of course that makes Immortals a bit weaker, but their anti-armored damage seems good)
I'm sorry, what? How does this make them weaker? Immortals that survive battle get back 100 shields quickly.Quote:
that makes Immortals a bit weaker
An immortal that regenerates its shields slowly in combat will almost always have its hardened shields on, essentially reactivating them every second or 2.
Faster recharge Out of battle is a buff
No recharge In battle is a nerf (especially for Immortals)
Its probably closer ot the desired effect.
Regen in-battle would be pretty negligible anyway...
But... I haven't noticed this effect in my games.
Ha! Probably they put this in again when i asked if normal regen didn't cause problems with Immortals :p
Well, maybe not, but i'm happy this is in the game again. It encourages to micro you troops, and is very race specific.
I agree I really like it, and it can be very easily "Tweaked" (because you can change both the Regen Rate... and the 'Time' out of combat to regen)
I'd personally favor both being high, like 5-10/sec for the shield regen rate and 15-25 sec for the out of combat time.
I watched this replay where the Protoss stopped typical M&M using 2 gate robo and churned out immortals. He peppered it with a few zealots. 6 Immortals and 3 Zealots just melted through Marauder balls. They made the Robo Fac the same cost as a Factory.
