Reminds me of teaching my brother to play Starcraft several years ago. A pity we could not finish the training.
In any case, my advice would be to play a 1v1 against him via LAN. This way, you have full control over what he faces, and you can pace him and teach him about the various tactics necessary to be a good Starcraft player. As my XO would say; "No training is better than live fire."
I would wish to teach my brother how to play SC but I have no brothers, just a sister and she's teen now so she can't be manipulated...or can it be....

Yeah kids are pretty scary. I've seen a relative's kid use the youtube search engine to look from funny videos before he could even write his name...
