eh I wouldn't even worry about it if it's that late
I really thought it would be a two-parter and next weeks episode would coincide with beta release
but if it doesn't come out until like 3pm it just might coincide with beta today (i doubt it though)
Can someone show me proof that the SC2 episodes were filmed in June? Blizzard said they were "recently visited" by Jace Hall, which unless their version of recent is closer to recent™ and soon™ than the actual definition, would not imply 8 months ago.
I keep hearing people say "filmed in June"...but nobody shows how they know that.
Well in the previous episode they had a diablo 3 meeting filmed from that time(it said so in the jace hall show), i guess everyone assumes that the sc2 meeting is from the same time. I think its very logical to assume this but i suppose you can hope for the best :)

Well, go back and look at the "Welcome to SC2 beta" leak screen from Jace hall. Then compare it to the welcome screen in the battle.net preview. They're drastically different, aren't they? That would be another suggestion to me that it's old.
On the other hand, it could be old but still relevant (like d3 monk).
I thought the WELCOME TO STACRAFT II BETA was the exact same SS frm jace hall as it was to bnet preview one

Wait they are different! one avatar is protoss, the other is terran!
also, COMMUNITY is different in preview, and community is not present in jace hall, its something else
even HEADLINES looks longer in jace hall and appears to be different
AND one says WELCOME TO STARCRAFT II BETA and the other says WELCOME TO THE STARCRAFT II BETA
so maybe it is old!
After seeing how similar those pictures are now, I'm actually starting to think this wasn't filmed along with Diablo back in June.
I can't tell if you were being sarcastic or not Sydarm, but I was looking for design differences. A bit of different text is no big deal.

The EPISODE could have been delayed for the new season.
If there is a cross-promotional fator involved, Jace Hall isn't going to mess that up by releasing the episode when the cross-promotional factor isn't relevant. He'll wait. Why wouldn't he...? The episode makes no sense otherwise.
Or they could have known the beta would be delayed back then, and filmed it for now. When they knew the beta would be out.
it is apparent after reviewing both that the welcome screens are completely different.
