Nice! That sounds even more confirming than the slide from the call,
which actually said "Beta testing ready to launch this month," and knowing Blizzard, they could've delayed it and been like,
"What? It was ready. We just didn't wanna do it yet."

I think they've stated in the past that they'll take care of this when they distribute all the keys they received from Blizzard. There's already people lined up that have guaranteed beta keys and they get priority (staff, contest winners). After that I'm sure the rest will given to the April Fools winners.

Maybe we should have a thread for all beta participants to condense future info. It could also be used to upload media from the beta which would be nice for anyone who doesn't have it.

Watching the SC2 announcement marine trailer felt much more epic when he said "hell, its about time" now that beta was announced officially

As always the members of SCL show their dedication to the franchise by watching the investor conference, but it was intended to be only that. Blizzards interests informing them. Blizzard will have their own deal with the fans later on, this wasn't intended for folks like us.

AAAARGH! Why is it that after such a long drought of interesting games, Bioshock 2, Aliens vs Predator AND the StarCraft 2 beta have to come out on the same month? :P

@topic: I guess they are either using the same servers they use for WoW or they builded new ones for Battle.net 2.

Blizzard has told us, a resonable amount of times, that they look forward on using Battle.net for the "deep" future. In some way, they also want a chat for gamers.

its actually the most excrusiating right now imo than its been in the past 2 years. Because we actually know its very soon, its not an unexpected surprise, so before where I wasnt thinking about it really and just thinking "Oh some day it'll just appear".. now we have to wait, KNOWING its a very few days away.

And the worst part is going to be when it actually starts, but I cant play right away because I have to wait for afew things before I can get a key =/
