Do you believe yet?

I'm going to be pessimistic and say no. I've been hurt to many times.

So many disappointments makes you lose faith, however with each disappointment you get the fewer disappointments there will be left to endure until it is finally time.

This poll makes no sense. Of course beta is coming. It has always been coming. They're not canceling SC2, and they're not releasing it without some kind of beta test. So it is unquestionably coming.

The only question is when. And the poll doesn't give a time-frame.

I think judging by the information released and how much speculation has grown lately, the poll is aiming at beta releasing soon (ie. this week/month). You would have to be crazy to read the poll/question and think "No" means that beta is "never" coming.

Going to assume you mean this week.....otherwise we'd all be answering 'yes'. :)

Well - I've always said no significant beta news until significant bnet news, but.......this recent bnet tidbit does not count I'm afraid......I'm hopeful, but think going to hold off on my potential freak-out until after the big meeting tomorrow.

Looks like Spychi seems to know somethng....again. :)

I play the demo of the new Aliens Vs Predator not StarCraft 2 beta...
and I don't work for Blizzard, although I could but Kapselous is the one working on a position I was trying to fill.... and I keep my contact with few of employees there

I think tomorrow they will only talk about Battle.Net 2.0 and not SC2. I wish I'll be wrong but sorry not really on huge hype.

For those of us who have been following SC2's development since May 2007, I'd say the term jaded is the best to describe or sentiment. I for one have been let down to many times to even put any emotion into anything released by Blizz. Once beta is released, I will be happy, but not as happy as I would have reacted if it had come out a year ago.

Interestingly enough I also saw Spychi for the first time on AvPGalaxy the other day...

Still not sure on the Beta announcement... I suppose you could say that I'm quietly optimistic.

I really don't know what to think to be honest..

I am honestly very excited and yet I am preparing for the worst.

Fact is, even if they DO announce the beta tomorrow, how many of us will be in permanent denial? I don't think it will actually hit me until I have the client live on my PC at which point I might go into cardiac arrest. Or the Iranians nuke us when the servers go up. One or the other.

Oh yeah sure it IS coming. Only question is how many times will they postpone game's release and for how long. I wouldn't mind another decade or two. Heck, I'm just 22, I can wait. :p

Here is another things guys, and this might be stretching it just alittle bit but... Take it for what it is..

The WoW servers have been experiencing horrible latency and technical issues across the board today. Most users couldn't log in until well after 3pm Pacific time. Ive been playing WoW on and off for awhile but I have always been around during major expansions / hardware migrations, etc. The only time the lag or sever instability is ever THIS bad is when they are performing a major overhaul of sorts. Exp: An Expansion pack or a major patch.

Again, might be stretching it a bit but... It seems like the planets are aligning..

Its more fun believing its almost time.

I for one think it'll be this month. I think this week is a little overly optimistic but I'm fairly confident the wait for beta is very near it's end.
