The question is... can you do anything with the advanced knowledge? Does the few seconds head start provide any meaningful difference in the overall exchange? For instance, a few seconds would allow the Protoss to successfully warp-in reinforcements that might otherwise have been killed mid-way by an attack. For the Terrans, what difference does it make?
You would put them in spots that would not be constantly watched. An example would be your mineral line in preparation of a storm drop.
You can also put them in key perimeter spots that you wouldn't normally watch to help identify incoming "backside" attacks.
But does your opponents still see the red circles?
the use fullness of this building depends entirely on how big its range is. if it can see really far like way into the map then yes it can be useful otherwise its useless
I bet you can still see the red range circle. If the enemy has a building that can continuously reveal the position of your units over a huge range, it's only fair that you can see that's happening.Quote:

Yeah, but seeing an enemy's location isn't exactly a huge advantage, I mean you have no idea what they are, those 12 units out there could be an all Hellion raiding party, or they could be a team of Marines, Marauders and SCVs looking to set up a forward base.
