He's the trainer.
The artwork is by Fernando Heinz Furukawa.

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Ah that makes sense. So I if Nova was brought into the Ghost Academy during the Dominion's rise, then Tosh must of went Rogue with Raynor sometime then.

The best ones are the three that have something drawn over his face. Especially the Rastafarian one and the jackass one.

If I remember correctly, this thread used to be stickied but then someone un-stickied it.
But at least I won't have to go looking for it using the search function.

I never understood how Marines pee through a foot of neosteel.

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Haha ^^ Yeah.
Probably the have something like a urin container down there which is emptied every 5 minutes through pipes which lead through their legs and open at their toes to release the waste on the ground ;)
Actually it's some nice art!

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Actually the suits are made to recycle human waste and use it as fuel to power the suit.

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Wow, that guy has a huge package.

lol, thanks, that was exactly what I was talking about.
Yeah, it's very "stylized" and doesn't keep to normal proportions. It's still cool though.

but thats not enough...

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Well its not just the only source of power. It just makes sure bodily wastes can be converted to reusable energy.

Probably they pee into something that absobs it, and recycles it as pure water. Pee isn't the worse problem, however :p. Maybe they have integrated toilet-bidets?

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Tyrael, Arthas and Zeratul.
Yeah, Zeratul just looks roughed in, his skin and leg just gestural swaths of paint on the digital canvas.
My favorite of these three is Arthas in the middle. His pose is the most dynamic, and the composition seems designed to steer attention towards him.

rofl
The skewed proportions give a kind of "fisheye" feel on the marine - The hydralisk looks more normal in this reguard IMO. Still, I also think it look great.
Zeratul looks skinny in that last pic. :D

I know who Arthas is - mostly because of World of Warcraft - just not any of the characters from Diablo. And yeah, Arthas has a pretty cool pose. He was the first character I looked at, mainly because of his pose. Even so, I still feel that Tyrael is the best looking because he is the most visual appealing character to me from that piece of artwork. Also, it feels to me like the artist didn't put enough effort or time into drawing Zeratul. As if he/she spent less time on him.
On another note, I need to get my computer and my tablet soon... I have this urge to finish a piece of artwork and show it to everyone on SC:L. But that won't happen for a month or two.

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Tyrael is going to win. He's a freaken angel.

And Zeratul is a freaken alien. :D

Remember that he was taken down by an ancient dude with festering sores on his back and a glorified hobo. Good show, heaven, good show.
