What does everyone think of Mr. Jack's Overseer design? I think it's pretty good. I like the way the eyes are laid out around it's body.

I like how you can actually tell that it's an evolution from the Overlord. I'm really looking forward to him doing the Guardian, cause it's my favorite unit. ^^Quote:

For some reason I prefer the in-game design of the SC1 carrier that the cinematic one.

I love the cinematic carrier, it's much better than the one in game IMO.

This is fanart done for the blizzcon contest, unfortunately I couldn't finish it on time and submited what I had. (thought it was due 12AM, but it was actually 12PM in the afternoon) But oh well, I really liked it so I carried on to finish.

I was working on it intensely for five days straight right before the deadline which I MISSed by 20 mins. This was probably one of the dumbest mistakes I made in my life. But I guess I learned the lesson the hard way. Lesson of not to submit something at the last minute or the day it's due.
As far as how the image turned out, I guess I'm pretty satisfied. I did fall into few traps along the way. Zooming in on the image and over detailing everything, not keeping myself aware of the overall composition. In the end I sort of struggled in getting all the parts of the image to fit together. So my word of advise to all the young artists looking at my image, "Don't zoom in 200% on your image! it's easy to fall into, especially on the computer."

IIRC Nova went into the Ghost Academy after Mengsk took over. Kerrigan was in the Ghost Academy during the time of Confederate rule.
