I've been working on this all week. I just composited it together this morning. It was inspired by another fan's art posted at the blizzard fan art site.

Why do the Marines in the art look so much better than the ones seen in-game? :(
In all the artwork I've seen with their new armor, they look very heavy and bulky - but in-game they look frail, plastic, and something similar to an astronaut rather than in powered armor. The helmet/visor especially sticks out as being way different from the art and cinematic approach.
Anyway, some nice artwork posted here! I'll try to contribute a bit later, if I can find anything that's a nice quality and hasn't been posted before. :p

I'm a high-level-detail kinda guy, so I don't normally go for stuff like this unless its presentation is out of this world. However, it has a kind of minimalistic approach as far as lightning goes that make it look dramatic, like in the face and crest. Totally digging it.

That reminds me of the Battle on the Amerigo cinematic.
It's really because it's the most sinister and Zerg-like and non-awkwardly rastafarian images of Kerrigan that I've seen. It's also really smooth, and it doesn't look like a painting, like some of the recent ones have.
