Erm... have you seen what the Power Rangers' uniform looks like? They typically wear rubber boots. If anything, the Reaper's footwear look more like they were stolen from Master Chief. Or maybe just Simmons'. :D

I don't understand then. Why did you call it a Power Ranger on steroids if you don't know what a Power Ranger looks like?

The failure to understand sarcasm -- for both of you -- is quite amusing.

Please don't provoke. I didn't understand the context. It would have been easier just to tell me it was sarcasm. Your condescending response was wholly unwarranted.

Well, considering you can't type one's tone of voice, coupled with the weirdos you can get online, it can be hard to tell at times. Your comment wasn't absurd enough to be immediately obvious (i.e. it's actually conceivable that there are people out there who would actually think as such).

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
[Sarcastically] I suggest we implement a system like the Elcor use.

It might be us failing to understand sarcasm if any of it made sense in the first place =|

Could we change of this tedious topic and talk about artwork...?

I would like to see some of your artwork, since you mentioned you are an artist :)

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Theres some really cool stuff in this thread! I figured I would go ahead and post some of my star craft related stuff. Mr. Jack is an inspiration to me so I've been toying with the idea of doing a bunch of my favorite race's units in the future(protoss). I started with the Warp Ray. The Dragoon and Fenix are from a long time ago but I still like them.
Some wc3 stuff is on my website too... www.joelrdurham.com
I'm actually really interested in getting involved with SC legacy and the people who did first contact (I thought it was really good) but I'm not sure what the job entails or how much time I could even give to it right now.

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Those are some realy nice pictures ZealotPowerade:)
I exspecialy liked the details on the zealots armor.

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
That remote barrage trooper would look pretty sweet as a Terran unit if you changed the helmet to fit the style.

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
I really like the Dragoon =D

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Hah. Strangely enough, that Dragoon does actually look pretty cool with all those pipes and wires hanging out...

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
The Dragoon is probably the old unit that I most want to see. Ive always wondered how it really looks.

Those are very sweet man. If you're interested in becoming a part of the SC:L Support Team we can definitely look into that. Very cool!

Since dragoons hold mutilated Protoss inside of chambers filled with some sort of regenerative liquid I wondered how you would keep that liquid cool with all the energy needed to run a dragoon. My solution was sort of like liquid cooling for a computer. So yeah.. thats what all the wires and tubes are for. Circulating the liquid to the heat sinks and vents located on the legs. Which is why theres so many thin lines (vents running through the legs.)

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
I'm guessing the Vulture's smoke trail.
P.S.: Love how this 'Santa's' idea of presents are weapons and the same fate awaits those who are naughty and nice.
Second P.S.: Is it just me or is the Murloc alongside 'Santa Horde' surfing on the old Soul Hunter's surf board? ;)

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Santa has come at last! It looks like Santa has traded his slay and furry friends for something a little more modern. He should probably check his bag to make sure something unwanted didn't come with his new suit.
I had a lot of fun with this one! started it at around 10:00 and its 2:30am now... better get to bed. Merry Christmas all!

Does anyone have the StarCraft 2 calendar? There's an artwork version of this picture with the Hydralisk's mouth open that looks really awesome. (I think it's November).

Re: StarCraft II Artwork Thread
Hmmm, a bit of "artwork" from my side:
A idea I've played with: What if a broken Dragoon chassis would be infested with an Zerg Organism:
http://handclaw.rampagingpolygons.co...edDragoon4.jpg
And another Zerg... Thing... that I drawed while trying to catch in the zerg feeling... I need to practice it quite a bit, as you guys can see... :P
http://handclaw.rampagingpolygons.com/Art/ZergThing.jpg
Oh, and I made this comic for the monthly comic contest which gradius posted on page 51 already ^^

If it croons and rubs against you, and is smaller than a zergling I shall keep it as a pet! It can be the zerg equivalent of a lapdog since it's almost as cute as a zergling. And I shall pet it and feed it the flesh of my enemies. :D
