The ball looks too far back for my liking, I figure it's look better tucked in just behind the 'head'. And yeah, a visual 'power level indicator' would rock.

I sorta feel like Zerg should get some sorta null void ability, being up against so many caster types and having so many massed/weak units vulnerable to spells and abilities.
Twitter update: Protoss Sentry is now called the SCOUTER

I think it should use those claws for attacking (maybe throw them like a lightsaber or something cool) instead of that ugly purple laser it has now.
Hmmm.....while the 'in game' Corsair model was a little ambiguous, I always liked the model's design (attached) Very unique, very alien - Unlike the Scout, which IMO with a little red, black and silver could have easily ended up a Terran unit.Quote:
Corsair looks stupid
Eh... I liked the old segmented model better. The whole argument about it "looking like a Zerg unit" seems a bit silly and contrived, because it clearly looked like a high tech machine designed to resemble a living creature which is cool and which is one of the characteristic motiffs of Protoss design (the Reaver and the Phoenix being the best examples). It was sleek and graceful (another important characteristic of Protoss units), the new model feels incongruously bulky in comparison (it really isn't, but it does feel that way; more round, less aggressive, and it is a war machine we're talking about). And moreover, it was a unique and memorable design. The new model feels like one abstract design too many.
I liked the old model more. What's that glowing ball over the unit?
Sentry is a good name.
This thing looks like it’d be kinda clumsy when moving on the battle field because its just so.... round... I do really prefure the old design.
I don't know, the whole Trillobite thing does seem a little more befitting to Zerg.
What's best about the new Sentry design is the 'roundness' of the model. It should make it easier to spot and interact with.
