They never got to BattleCruisers and Carriers either, if I remember correctly. Or Corruptors.
One of the TvZ videos from GStar involves amassing BCs.
Vikings were used in a few matches to repel colossi, but nobody's really used them against ground units.
BCs were massed once, and subsequently owned by mass hydras.
Is the mass BCs matc online? if so, can you link it plz?
In GStar videos, which were like a dozen or so, we never saw some units, and i think that Beta will reflect the same thing.

The vikings almost got here, but in the last uploaded video we saw them being used very well...
-About the units above... I think the mothership should be cut from multiplayer... useless.
-Immortal is way too specialized. But Beta will tell. I hope we see some cool immortal action.
-Banshee is ridiculous. And ATG Terran unit????? Why do we need this???? Every single terrran unit is ranged AND can atack ground. No need to waste resources on this unit. They better give the banshee something else.
-About the infestor... well its the zerg "Spell caster". Dont know why it was never used at Gstar... After watching some videos, zerg could win more games if players have used Infestors... But well, Beta will tell everything we need to know...

Um, to shoot things that can't shoot back. Repelling a Roach-heavy Zerg force is a lot easier when they can't shoot back. And that ignores the mobility advantage of air units.Quote:

Doesn't the banshees attack also have splash? or am I completely out of the loop?
Banshee can attack ground units without being counter attacked by ground units. They also ignore terrain, making things like force field traps and LoS a non issue. Factor in that you can cloak and use banshees against GtA units as well, this makes Banshees very potent for flanking or harassment.
Think of hitting the enemy back line casters or tanks. Sure you can use any ground Terran unit, but Banshees would be much less risky.
That was removed a while back. It is a single target attack now.
Didn't Nicol already mention all those in his post? I don't quite understand KadajSouba's post and his qualms, since Nicol's response was quite legitimate.
Cloak makes the Banshee good in a different way to DT, and that way is not in a siege weirdly enough, because 2*12 damage is no match for the DT's straight 45.
