Banshees can cloak. That should theoretically make them as useful as Dark Templar, right?

Doesn't the banshees attack also have splash? or am I completely out of the loop?
Banshee can attack ground units without being counter attacked by ground units. They also ignore terrain, making things like force field traps and LoS a non issue. Factor in that you can cloak and use banshees against GtA units as well, this makes Banshees very potent for flanking or harassment.
Think of hitting the enemy back line casters or tanks. Sure you can use any ground Terran unit, but Banshees would be much less risky.
That was removed a while back. It is a single target attack now.
Didn't Nicol already mention all those in his post? I don't quite understand KadajSouba's post and his qualms, since Nicol's response was quite legitimate.
Cloak makes the Banshee good in a different way to DT, and that way is not in a siege weirdly enough, because 2*12 damage is no match for the DT's straight 45.
