SC1 on SC2

Anyone think there'll be an option to play Brood War, with the brood war units and upgrades, but with SC2 graphics and mechanics (smart casting, auto-mine, etc)?

Would you want that? I'm certainly interested...

There could be some at some point who will do it, but it is more than likely that people would want to explore sc2 stuff.

I'm certain though that there will be UMS maps with sc1 settings in it.

Some1 will make a map like that on the editor. I'm pretty sure.

That would be useless anyways because of pathing and the AI in general. I doubt it would have the slightest retro feeling to it.

Old units alone have a retro feeling....as do old maps....like lost temple....

This has been talked to death before. Blizzard probably won't release it (a remake of the campaign) but someone from the community will. Most of the older units are already being included in SP.

I hpe they bring back another huge money map like BGH. Always good fun for large scale chaos :D

You can make one easily enough.

I wouldn't be incredibly shocked if the entire first 6 episodes were some kind of premium map thing - they weren't exactly incredibly complex or particularly differently designed.

I'd really love to see the old mission briefings done in SC2 story-mode style. I can bet my leather mouse pad that someone will eventually get these done. :)
