LOL. I was actually going spend over $1500 on my new comp just to make sure SC2 ran awesome and now it looks like I can save a little money.

Spend the extra dough on a decent monitor!

I had just bought a 24" 16:9 monitor. It's given me an entirely different way to see the Battle Reports since it actually displays the game in the proper widescreen format.

Sydarm seems to have confirmed that these "minimum requirements" were for World of WarCraft (which makes more sense).
