I need to do something.
So lately with things going not the way I planned and with few things I needed to do to fix the mess I made I...decided to stop my community support. I can't go on with all this. My private problems as well as other things made me think.
I don't want to post after what I was made to do and I need to go on. With my depression growing month after month the only thing that made me happy was giving you guys informations that were true and because of that I crossed the line between normal life and "internet life".
I lost my GF to all this, I lost my private life, I lost alot through these 3 years and I don't want to loose anything more. I thought that what I was doing through the past was good, now I realize that I achived nothing, nothing that much important in personal life that I would call a success.
I will likely take a part in Beta testing and I will likely be playing StarCraft 2, but there is a sane part of me that is saying that you need to stop all this.
So yeah I want my account to be suspened or banned, this is the only way to end my mental suffering.
I want you guys to remember me by my actions.
I don't like lying, I never did and honestly I don't think that it will ever change.
C'ya guys around battle.net 2.0, beta is close, few days that is.
With Regards Tomasz Spychi Spychala.

Re: I need to do something.
Someone cracked
In all seriousness, take care of yourself. These forums aren't worth loosing sleep over (sorry if that offended someone).
In the back of my mind I think he'll come back in Feb and go "gotcha!"

Re: I need to do something.
Well... snap.
Take care man. Catch you on MSN n steam.

Re: I need to do something.
Buh-bye now. Was a fun time.

Re: I need to do something.
You need to chill out. Its tough losing a relationship, and when you become depressed you tend to look at everything the wrong way. You have alot of potential and a long future ahead of you for alot of new things. Take starcraft and the internet in moderation and get on with your life. If anything you needed a wake up call and it sounds like you got it. Just take it easy and don't let your emotions get the best of you right now.

Ditto. You mean a lot to a lot of people <3

Re: I need to do something.
We all need a break sometimes, see you when the game comes out!
-
Re: I need to do something.
Alright man, what ever you think is for the best
Take care of yourself

Re: I need to do something.
Seems like someone has been too many hours in the virtual world and not enough in the real one to keep things well done.
Cheer up, who fights is not dead, I mean, don't let depression overcome you, you can win if you just do something about it! If you do something even if it seems useless, it's better than doing nothing, eventually things will end up well if you made the right choices.

Re: I need to do something.
It's been months since that "incident" between us, but i would like to take the time now to sincearly apologize to you for my actions ,and my behaviour then (since it seams this is my last chance to do so), and to say you were one of my favorite and most funny members here, and i'm gonna realy miss you.
.

Re: I need to do something.
*salutes* You'll see me around steam man. I know I can speak on behalf of a good amount of people when I say, I have only the utmost respect for you doing what you need to do. Thank you for all that you're contributed in many ways to the community as a member, and myself as a friend.
-
Re: I need to do something.
Losing your GF sucks, and for that I can sympathize. But in the end if it wasn't meant to be then it wasn't meant to be. There will be others, and one day you'll find one that truly makes you happy and understand you for who you are.
On the topic of Blizzard...they're a moving target and very hard to predict. I can count on two hands the amount of times they've proven me wrong when I was so sure about them. It's not worth getting too emotional over. In a short period of time all of us will be following progress of the beta, and this community will be bustling with news and excitement spread out across countless media outlets.
In the meantime, I'm sure I'll see you in L4D2 tearing up zombies, and look forward to playing SC2 with you hopefully in the near future.

Re: I need to do something.
Take care man.
I hope to see you in the K-Sector soon.

Re: I need to do something.
Try not to take it to hard - I'm sure we'll see you soon.

You were always special to me and I will miss you too.
But the decision is made and there is no going back.

Re: I need to do something.
Never knew you that well, Spychi, but I offer a salute in your direction for your ability to step back when you feel it's necessary.
Catch you when beta comes! :)

Re: I need to do something.
I never really knew you spychi...I knew of what others said about you, and I pay respect. This isn't the most wise to end the pain but in the end it's your choice, and if it works for you, I can say we will all respect it. Farewell

Re: I need to do something.
@Spychi: Wow pal... I'll miss you.
@community:
I'll just share some thoughts with you guys.
Quotes:
"Fiction reveals truths that reality obscures." Wise man
"A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life." Charles Darwin (good old friend)
"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." Budda
“Passion is to improve through experience, teaching one another and cultivating the desire to be the best at what we do” Blizzard Entertainment
"A Legacy never ends" SC:L
"EL ESTUDIANTE"
"EL ESTUDIANTE" is a mexican movie about life itself, and about what we have forgotten. I highly recomend this movie to everyone. If you guys can't find it in English, I could add subtitles under request. (NO ACTION ALERT)
FACTS
-The gamming industry is one of the THOUGHESTS in the world.
-Daily information around the globe is incrementing exponentially. We only keep track of 0.1X10^-40 of this information.
-An average human uses 4-6% of his brain.
-People sharing common thoughts and experiences within the internet over a prolonged time, are one of the most pure relationships in the world.
-People are not flawless.
Opinion
I guess I don't know anyone in person from SC:L and I don't pm or talk to anyone of you. Yet, I share one of my passions with you guys. That lets me say that:
-I would save anyone in this forum against a hungry swarm of zergs.

Re: I need to do something.
Spychi - good luck & godspeed. We should play a few games on battle.net 2.0, eh? See you on MSN in the meantime.
-
Re: I need to do something.
All the best Spychi. Keep it real.
-
Re: I need to do something.
Spychi - Having gone through similar stuff myself I know exactly what you mean. Take some time to pull yourself together, things will get better eventually. Best of luck in everything!

Re: I need to do something.
I knew times were really tough for you but I never thought it was bad enough to warrant something like this; that you would be leaving. But then again, I of all people should know what it's like to lose so much - even if I've never had a significant other, I have lost way too much over the years - and to not accomplish anything worth being proud of.
I know how you feel, at least in regards to depression. I'll spare the advice on that because you've heard it countless times from me.
It was fun talking to you, no matter how little we did or how short the conversations felt. If you ever need to talk about anything - and I mean anything - I'll be here. After all, you have my MSN.
Best of luck and take care Spychi.
-
Re: I need to do something.
Well, never talked to you directly much but I have you steam now so I will most likley see you around online sometime, take it easy man.
-
Re: I need to do something.
It didn't really bother me. I never knew what happened inside that spammed thread, anyways :p
You just need to do things a step at a time, and don't get obsessed with something.
-
Re: I need to do something.
This demonstrates a fact about humans. People always argue and fight for supremacy, and only really feel emphatic for another when they are in misery. See how all of us SC:L members left away our emotions and resentments, and we veiled together for a farewell. When this is past, probably we will argue and fight again as if it never happened but I want to use this to remind what we can do together. Starcraft is our common passion; it's valid and interesting to diverge in opinions but in a civilized way. If you need proof, see it yourself. For example, Squid and Archer, long-time rivals at last posted in the same thread without discussing. And we can now feel the next empathic moment that each day gets close...you can feel it. Beta is coming.

True.

Michael Jackson - Everything good he did, will now trasend into legacy.

Re: I need to do something.
Spychi.....
I hardly knew you, I hardly know anyone here. But your words now made me realize that together, we are a community. I may not have your Steam, or even have a Steam account, or have your MSN. But when Beta rolls around, don't think for a second that I won't be lookin for a good clean game between neighbours. What say you?
Take care until then, don't be too hard on yourself, I still think you're a great guy.

Re: I need to do something.
see ya later Spychi... :(
you have a really cool full name :o

Re: I need to do something.
So I was thinking for all those days, what to do.
I talked with my GF about how gaming is important in my life and how Blizzard fans community is. I must admit after those 3 years of sacrificing my time in all this I can't just leave but I can limit my time and spend more time with my darling. I am angry at certain employees from Blizzard for not understanding why I did some things and for not saying at least thank you or anything.
I am also angry at myself because of the truth and because of the fact that I hate hiding things from forum members, I don't like lying as I said previously.
I talked with my gf about how we will go on with my community work and she is the only one who understand me fully and I think it's the most important fact for me. Through those past days I did what I could to retrive a small grain of her trust. I won't be going to USA as I planned instead I choose to spend the whole july in Egypt or on Mallorca.

At least you’re taking action to combat your problems Spychi- that’s more then I can say about most men I know. I wish you the best of luck. You just need to find the balance in your life. :)

Re: I need to do something.
I hear where you're comin from Spychi. I recently quit WoW for the very same reasons, it consumed my time and I wasn't really gaining anything out of it.
Take a breather, get your head together, and hopefully things will be better.
Hopefully you can make a balance between both gaming and RL, but if not, don't sweat it. Games will always be there, you're not missing anything important.
-
Re: I need to do something.
I too quit WoW...love the story & lore, love the game, but hate telling RL friends I couldn't go out that night cause I had to farm my T8 gear or something equivalent to that...
Best of Luck Spychi! I didn't really know you too well, but good luck and happy trails!
-
Re: I need to do something.
@spychi Man, good to see you're doing well, at least you began to get things done!
I think that, with a little faith anything could be solved, and in your case, speaking frankly with your girlfriend was a good decision.
...
The later posts shine with optimism!
Quit WoW!!!
I thought it was as addictive as...
http://www.ehow.com/how_2222786_quit...-warcraft.html
well I don't know, never played it... for some reason I don't like the game style or something...

Re: I need to do something.
Congratulations, Spychi. You actively sought to solve your issue; a definite step in the right direction.
