Well......technically......
One's bnet2 and the other's sc2

I think they would really like to report very positive progress in that investor relations call coming up... maybe enough to do some after-the-holidays overtime on getting things tested and ready for the next step.
This brings up and interesting question to me I'd like to ask you all. Blizzard, like any other software development company, has what's considered "crunch time"
With all the information provided by the community as a whole, do you speculate they're in "crunch time" now... if so, how long do you speculate they've been in crunch time...
Ya know, maybe it's just really late, a long day, and the headache...
...but I don't get a SINGLE BLEEDING THING in this thread...
Ego, I find it extremely suspicious that:
— your join date is today
— you have only made two posts
— Gifted responded to you and not the others before you
BTW, how are your brothers, Id and Super Ego?
I think they could very well be in crunch time. They would need to get hardware together in order to proceed with the next step. I imagine the B.net guys are burning midnight oil (and eating pizzas?)... and so might the QA team(s). It would be a good time to try something like having a large number of concurrent matches going on, or a large number of "users" logged into the new system (maybe a thousand?) all at the same time.
As for how long? Well, I believe the holidays would have been a needed break. Probably the first week of the new year was used for spinning everyone back up on the project. So, maybe starting Jan. 11th? Maybe we should send care packages?
Edit: I joined today because this was too fun to pass up. I have been an SCL lurker since at least May, 2007. I was logging onto the internet from airports yesterday in order to follow the original thread!
Edit 2: I don't know how Id or Super Ego are. Id is too busy eating or fighting, and Super Ego just ignores me :( .
