Actually it could easily be coincidence. Blizzard always has a quarterly conference and it's always going to fall around Feb. 9-12. The idea that 1000 is a significant number for Blizzard and that they're going to have something big planned for it is stupid. The only reason we even recognized 1000 is because of this thread, do you know anyone who celebrates a "1000 day anniversary"?

1000 days could still be significant as a clue obviously though.

People are also getting their hopes up too much about the conference call. The conference call is BUSINESS AS USUAL.If it's conveniently timed, there might be beta news associated with it, but I think the fact that we're in February is more exciting than the fact that we're there's going to be a conference call.

We should probably be excited though, but mostly because it's February. Blizzard has to start the beta in February if they want to have a 4 month beta (Browder estimate 4-6 months) and not delay retail release.

I too think I'm done with this thread :P The facts alone are enough to be excited for February, and this thread just feels more and more like troll if it's only agreeing with what I could have figured out back in November using math (First half of 2010 minus 4 months = February)

I feel safe in letting you all know that 1000 has nothing to do with years/months/days/hours/seconds/etc. I figured that since I most likely won't have a gift later, I can try to offer that information directly.. consider this a "wanna-be gift" in that case. >.<
