Well, if you want to state "WoW" as the source, I think that is a bit closeminded as well. No offense intended at all PT. <3 If I'm wrong about this assumption, then please correct me and just take the next little tidbit as my personal thoughts on an unrelated subject >.<. I'll be sure to apologize too :)
Ultimately, there is a very large untapped cash flow potential in SC2 that can be exposed. Just the potential for the marketplace and it's effect on a worldwide eSports improvement is something that can provide profits much like the model of a Free-to-play MMO. The only difference is that burnout in a competitive game can be significantly less as there will ALWAYS be other people to try and beat. That's partially why PvP is incorporated in MMO's so often now, as it gives people something "better" to strive for and thus creates more incentive to play when the game has been "completed". In other words, there is always a dynamically changing, "more powerful" content to seek out, challenge and beat.
Wrapping back to B.net 2.0, this also is something that expands to every game in the future as well, as the marketing potential for profits are very large.
For this reason, if someone where to think that WoW would be more important than SC2, I feel that it's merely "one of the many priorities" of Blizzard, each with their respective staffs to run them.

Eligor, that test information was correct, it was related to a blue post around the time that Karune had to defend the removal of LAN (I believe, I can't source it now)

Thats the only thing that really warrants any sort of hinting.
It could be something else but if it is then its just masquerading as a beta rumour for hype.
I wouldn't say it's the only thing that warrants any hinting as a global statement, I see it as more of a personal statement. However, I'm kinda concerned about how often you speak regarding the words "you, we, people, community, others and them" and how little you speak on your own behalf with terms like "I" and "me".
100% Speculation: Maybe that's the reason why some people have difficulty conversing/seeing your point sometime. Some individuals can have a difficult time constructively talking with a person who attempts to act like they speak on behalf of people. I'd rather hear your thoughts regarding things, not those who you speculate/suggest to understand. Just two cents on your posts.
(If you don't know how, try to avoid using pronouns representing anyone else but you in the next few pages... that is, unless it's singing, that's all good. *approves Tool*)

There has been confirmation from Blizzard that it is a new intellectual property and therefore not related to StarCraft.
There is speculation/rumors in the media that suggest that the new MMO is a dual world that involves a social 3/4trs view interaction area and a secondary life that involves FPS elements. (Think Sims 3 combined with an FPS)
