Micro. I'm sure more than 7 people have posted; why only 7 votes (as of this post)?
Macro, Warcraft 2 being the first RTS I played with any level of strategy I think it's ingrained in strategy mind to make sure that my force is simply overwhelming to my enemies.
I really, really sucked at WC3, and I can't play SC very competitively at all.
I'm a pretty piss-poor player, but I lean towards micro when it comes to StarCraft, and am somewhat a better macro player in WarCraft. Seems like it should be the other way around, eh?
Im pretty good at micro, and I sometimes get caught up battles and forget to macro >.>.
A habit I picked up in war3 ( which still cost me just as many games as It did in SC )
Macro: Zerg player since Original. Often I don't even look at the main screen, managing only with unit bar, hotkeys and minimap (though most of the time I loose the game because of this).
Micro for me. I suck at Macro.
Guess :p
Actually funny story. I used to be a micro player. Someday Ill write a book "How I learned to stop worrying and love Macro".
