The sad thing is that the "white friend" part is true.
2011 Man of the Year right here. And yes, it's a live explosive.
So I was browsing though SC videos and saw this in related videos:
Day 9 J Pouch Surgery - (Ulcerative Colitis):

That guy got 2.950 free views for adding Day 9 to the title :D

This is only freaking hilarious if you've watched too many Hitler parodies like I have:
Charlie Sheen may just be the greatest man to have ever lived.
Fail!
You can never watch too many Hitler parodies </sarcasm>
LOL@ "I will punch the elevator with my fist"

Looks kind of like me whenever I get a half-way decent ally and have a good win :D Don't judge me. It's an extremely rare occurence.
I promise, this is the last time I give Charlie Sheen any more attention in this thread.
Forgot that this existed. Proof that Arnold is the best:
Wish this was real:
Lame! Charlie Sheen is the most bi-winning and greatest being to ever descend from the heavens. He deserves our praise!

This is some of the funniest shit I've seen in a long time :
So... for anyone that I've talked to that said "I wanna work in the game industry"... this contains so much truth...

Epic Bully Fail
Ahahaha, that was hilarious. That kid could have been killed, but he doesn't get any sympathy from me. I also like the WWF version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ova0qvQsn1Y
"Dam his lanky ass hit the floor..."
I'll never understand why that kid decided to "pick on" someone so much bigger than him. Even if that fat kid was a total puss, he shouldn't have messed with him. It's the quiet ones that always flip on you and raging hulk slam your ass :D
Also, I like how his friend got in his face like he was actually going to do something. His friend got embarassed; not him. There's no need to stand there staring at him like he's actually going to do something. That's what you do when you got your ass kicked and need a breather or a desperate attempt to scare the dude away.
As an aside, datpiff.com comments > youtube.com comments. That's why I tend to go there for certain kinds of videos like fighting videos.

MAN-EATING VAGINA!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!
Woman spends over five minutes trying to get into a parking space and retries dozens of times, all the while rudely holding up traffic. Finally, a waiting man offers to park it for her and he does it smoothly, easily, and on the first try :D
This video is for all the overly-sensitive people out there:
I don't believe it. You actually made me like Hitler.
zeeefaaaucht!!!
brilliant video, +1rep (or atleast I would if I could, won't let me :()
An amusing video with excellent effects:
Yes and no. We are living on consumer based economies and the idea of satisfying the market is not different from working at a consulting firm, a bank or even a car wash. Furthermore, the fact that employers want to get every inch of effort from their employees is a known consequence of the need to have surplus value and economies of scale.
While most gaming products are aimed to appeal little kids and parents so that their games are sold at Wal-Mart, that is not the case with every business. Think of Valve, Epic Games and even BE.
As for being stressful, any job can be stressful. Stress depends a big time on the employees emotions and quality of life. If you work in a unique gaming industry position (like arts, level design, creative development) it is most likely because you like doing what you are doing. Thus, saying the Gaming Industry is stressful is much more a matter of personal conditions. I would think working as an accountant might be stressful and would drive someone crazy but if you look at our mutual friend, that is not the case :)
I was talking about the truth of the typical person trying to get into the industry. Not all, but typical person who send me the random PM. Almost all the mentality is about that. "I have creativity" "I have an idea", and sometimes no matter how much insight you bereave upon them, it's almost like they don't realize what you're saying.
It also lines up some truth to some of the posters in this forum, about how "Blizzard is greedy".. and no matter how many times you tell them "It's not greed, it's business", they just don't understand.
My truth was regarding the conversation's existance and how it feels for someone explaining it, not regarding the truth of the words spoken.
To add to that, gamers tend to have this fantasized idea of the industry. They think that designing games will be just like playing your own game and giving feedback. That's far from the truth.
When I was 3 or 4, I was so sure I'd be some kind of game developer because I was so amazed by the technology. When I became for internet savvy around 8 to 10 and knew of the complexities and industry complications (mentioned by Gifted), I knew that couldn't be farther from what I wanted to do.
I got one look at the math classes required and threw up.
