Have they clarified if MC switches supply?
Does it matter? It's only important if you're taking control of a zerg unit.
In any event, you shouldn't be able to NP a ghost to drop a nuke. You may control the ghost, but not the ghost academy.
Well if you take control of a thor and the oponent loses X control and he makes more units and then 30 seconds later hes over supply.
I thought Karune addressed this very question, that SCVs could be used to construct buildings but continued construction would be difficult because of the period of time. He mentioned it being too much of a hassle to worry about it in your typical versus match, IIRC.
so does anyone know if MC'd units can be transported ? with the food issue that could be another huge abuse .... if they dont lose food control then just mindcontrol some high food units load em up and have your transport (overseer i think) sit over water so they wont auto unload when mc runs out ......
I think the easiest option for MC is
MC units can't be transported
MC transports can't load or unload? units
The player who they 'belong' to is responsible for supply at all times.
I don't. Do you know how hard that is to actually accomplish?Quote:
Holy hell I can see some serious abuse of that in team games.
First you have to max out your food to 200/200, then you want your ally to spend how many infestors MCing your Thors?
So that you can get an extra Thor or 2? At 200/200 food that's not going to be game deciding. In fact, I consider it a perfectly viable strategy. I don't see it nearly as game breaking as having 2 Zergs in 1 team in SC1 which is so rigged it has to be banned from tournaments.
