Seems like just about every fps I have played on console lately it acts like there is a magnet in the crosshairs.
Ya caught me, I used teh Hax
So squid, what console FPS games DO you play then hm?
I got it the same day I got my PS3. It's the first shooter I ever played on console, and the first next-gen game I played for more than a few minutes... and I beat 2/3 of the campaign, on Regular, in a couple of hours (haven't gone back since). That should say something.
The campaign is pretty ridiculous, but it's super cinematic and most of the missions are quite different, which makes it fun. Except Brazil. Brazil can go die. If I have to go back there after that last mission, heads will roll, and I'm not talkin' in-game.
Multiplayer has been tougher for a newb like myself, accustomed to PC as I am... but I'm making do. The one thing I'll say is there's some serious balance issues. On a lot of maps (Wasteland comes to mind), helicopters are SERIOUSLY overpowered. Basically the only way to not be killed by them ten times in a row is to sit in a hut for 5 minutes doing nothing. Yes, it's as lame as it sounds.
I've been having internet troubles, but I'm pretty sure that's my wireless acting up.
Nah, it gives the player less control than a mouse and keyboard. Way less.
Battlefield owns the hell out of Gaylo any day.
Also, plain and simply, sports games are gay, and good luck with trying to get any good RTS onto a console.
