Sounds like parody to me. And the fact that you posted like 10 times in this thread.
Yes, I posted that so people like you would understand when things get thrown into "retarded" language.

No I'm actually argueing why the stalker should continue to have a head, because it a)looks cool b)make sense from preexisting lore.
Look who doesn't know how to read.

You're actually arguing for why it makes sense
Second sentence, and you couldn't even read this far? Pathetic.

This is your argument. Stalker heads a)Make sense from prexisting lore. b)DARK TEMPLARS R SO STUPID LAWLS.
Yes, that is my argument. Do you not understand it? Are you really too simpleminded?
It makes sense for them to keep their individuality, but it doesn't make sense from any efficiency point of view. I might as well automate this message as you keep showing that you don't have the ability to differentiate from what makes sense in a "game world" and what makes sense realistically.
Do you know what "realism" means? Probably not.

Right because on the internet, proper grammar matters so much?
Nope it doesn't matter, it just makes you look like a fool when you can't even spell properly.
This is my argument. 1) It makes sense for them in the lore. 2) It doesn't make sense to any rational military designer.
This is your argument. 1) lawl it makes sense. 2) lul you're actually arguing about a nonexistent alien race? 3) I'm going to argue with you about a nonexistent alien race.
Re: Protoss Stalkers, Organic or Machine?
I'm sensing a impending lock down to end the nerd rage.

Its not arguing about a non-existent race that's silly, its the fact that your arguing about a non-existent race just to ridicule them, as if they were an actual race or organization.
Most people who argue against stalkerheads want them removed.
You're argueing that stalker heads aren't efficient just to ridicule the protoss, without any intent on changing anything, but just for the hell of it.
The entire reason I started argueing with you is because I assumed you fell in with most people. I wasn't under the impression that you were doing it for the hell of it/just to ridicule the inefficiency of the protoss.
and pand why are you so angry all the time? Stop raging its only gamelore :x

First of all, I wasn't making fun of them, second, I wasn't ridiculing them. Holy shit, I was making a statement, that they're idiots because they choose to make stupid design decisions.
Ok before this gets any further, you're telling me that on a gaming forum dedicated to the game, on a subforum all about lore, it's silly talking about why the Dark Templar are stupid for making dumb decisions? Your argument just gets more watered down every time you post.
Oh yes, it certainly is fine to make a huge bitch about why it's inefficient to have psi blades on Ghosts, but it's silly when someone says that the stalker design is inefficient and ugly.
Last but not least, if I'm saying it's stupid, that means I want it removed, I can't believe you don't even understand something that simple. I'm also glad you think you're a psychic, and can tell that I'm just "ridiculing" the Protoss for the hell of it because I'm treating them like a real species. The stupidity level doesn't get any lower than this. Oh wait, it does when you start claiming things like "The marauder is an artillery unit."

I'm angry? No my friend, I'm in disbelief. When I can't convey through facial expression, I convey my thoughts through "holy shit it's unbelievable, I didn't actually think there were people this stupid on Earth."

Oh i guess I misunderstood you again. I guess your one of those people who say stuff like this.

No Im pretty sure you were ridiculing them, unless this is how you make statements in irl (lols).
w/e bro, I accept that dark templars are stupid. If that was your argument, yes dark templars are being stupid.
...

Instead of writing a wall of text, I'll just say it's sad that your understanding of the English language is so bad.
Re: Protoss Stalkers, Organic or Machine?
How 'bout we stop making this a gigantic personal argument and actually address the thread at hand? I think that I brought up some pretty good points, and I have yet to see a decent response to them.

Not only that, why in the midst of battle would he multitask fighting while at the same time controlling his head? I'm inclined to think that just because his soul is infused with the machine, doesn't mean that putting a bullet in his face won't kill him.
IF it's a real head, the redesign fixed the issues with the legs interrupting the field of vision during its movement (one of the points that I brought up during the redesign thread back on Blizzforums). It's got a comparable field of vision to anything else with a forward mounted head. The double hinges allows it to look around, and it can turn pretty quickly to see around.
Why would he have to "multitask" to control his head, and the machine? They're all an integrated system, like a cybernetic body. The metal chassis IS essentially the DT's body. It's just like saying I have to multitask to walk, look around, and pick thing up all at once. Also - if the essence is contained in the machine, and it's NOT biologically alive- the head makes no difference. If it's cybernetically constructed, it's no worse off than any of the other forces that I'd mentioned earlier, so I fail to see how that makes it a bad design.
X
Re: Protoss Stalkers, Organic or Machine?
You're making a lot of assumptions. IF it's a real head, then why wouldn't he still have a real brain? Are we going to believe that just a "soul" isn't enough to survive? Then what kills a stalker? How come the soul can't just fly back to a new stalker machine? I'm pretty sure the head is a vital component, okay so what happens then if you chop off the head? What does he use to look around then, if it's not a vital component?
So far the way I see it, it's a vital component that he looks around with, and if you chop it off he dies.
Re: Protoss Stalkers, Organic or Machine?
Im just going to settle this debate.
Its a real head. Why? Cause it looks like a real head and its cooler that way and thats how protoss work they put wounded bodies in machines.
We good?
