The stalker is a machine controlled by the shadow-essence of a dark templar warrior fused into a metal body to protect his people.
Read the quote again and then tell me there's no evidence suggesting that the Templar fused his body with the machine. Your assumption no more wild than anyone elses. "We're going to design machines specially made for war, but while we're at it we're going to make you a fake face which you can do stuff like scratch with little claws, and blink your eyes and stuff."

The Stalker is wearing a small helmet on top of its crest but look behind and the neck. Its organic.

I know and I'm willing to admit to that. The key difference is that I'm left satisfied based on my assumption where as you lot have made your own assumption and proceed to complain how Blizzard screwed the pooch on the design (and let me reiterate; based on an assumption). Now, if it was a confirmed fact (that it is in fact a real head), then by all means complain. However, it's not. That's why I generally try not to judge people for disliking the head for aesthetic reasons.

The shortened answer: I find it silly to make complaints based solely on something you invented yourself (i.e. an assumption).

Well since the head is mechanical its a programmed itch. The head is programmed to have an itch sensatioin every couple seconds and then its programed to scratch it and then its programmed to turn of the itch for a couple seconds.

So uh, would you like the spend the rest of your natural life in a war machine...
that cannot perform any other function then kill people?
