Actually, right now I'm watching a SC2 competition on youtube. It's pretty entertaining, and it's still ongoing right now. I think the final games are being played tomorrow. I'm hyped, because the guy I'm going for is still in.

You wouldn't like Psycho-Pass. Its a dark, cerebral crime anime about a totalitarian future society where lots of people die in gory ways. That's why I included it in my list of great anime, but not the list I personalized for your tastes.Quote:

....though the anime you suggested does look pretty good.
You can watch whatever you want, but you yourself said you generally didn't like TV and movies with random death, slick protagonists, and a "cooler-than-thou" feeling. Psycho-Pass is fantastic, with a strong female lead who actually evolves as a character, but I honestly can't say it's up your alley given the data I've received on your tastes.Quote:

"ME!ME!ME!" was created for last year's Japan Animator Expo in a collaboration between Neon Genesis Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno’s Studio Khara, Japanese media company Dwango, and DJ TeddyLoid. It's a fucking masterpiece.

In case you don't grasp its meaning: the video is about a boy who becomes distant from his girlfriend because he acquires a porn and gaming addiction. At first everything is great, the girl with the blue hair is a heroin who is all about catering to the boy, hence the self-absorbed title "Me!Me!Me!." But it soon turns dark as his addiction grows and he gets into more and more perverse stuff. Eventually his fantasy starts vomiting fan service down his throat. He remembers his girlfriend and eventually tries to fight back against his addiction, but in the end he loses to it and it eats away at him.
I would say something about how fucked Japan and Squibb are, but, this wasn't even that bad compared to some other anime things, and I have crazier visions all the time. So, I'll give it a solid "entertained me while it lasted". Calling it a masterpiece just shows how much in need of real stimulation you are though. Stare at a visualizer for a couple of hours with some of the better audio brainwave entertainments and put this to shame.
I, uhm... wow. That... happened... I'm going to bleach my brain with a TED Talk now. Oh god...
So... I watched Cinderella, yesterday.
While the movie still has the regular blue prince and happy ever after tropes, it was really well made. I liked it.
