I honestly think that the indoctrination theory has no place in ME3, I don't like it and its not canon so it never happened.
My personal pick is either Control ending or Synthesis, since I don't belive Shepard survived in the Destroy ending, even though the cutscene shows he is breathing again.

They fixed most of things in the extended version of the endings but I guess not that, I mean how Shepard supposed to survive that and the ending of ME 3 is meant to be the Ultimate Sacrifice for the entire galaxy
According to the Extended Cut, he was knocked unconscious by the blast of destroying the whatever in the Destroy ending, and then awoke among the rubble... Just as it had transpired in the first game's ending.Quote:

But it's all not canon so really why people force that theory like fucking hard, BioWare said it so...
Canon is very fickle and capricious; just see how StarCraft's has utterly changed. What is not canon, may be canon, eventually. Just as the Extended Cut retconned many things.
He's already been resuscitated once in Mass Effect 2; it's not hard to believe that Shepard's body was partially shielded by the Crucible as it made atemospheric entry.Quote:

This would mean that you lose, whatever the outcome. If the ending cutscenes all take place in Shepard's mind, regardless of whether he lives or not; he has failed in his mission. The Reapers stopped the activation of the Crucible and hold sway over earth, and their galactic holocaust is under way. Which means, with earth essentially dead, Shepard will die of his injuries or be lost in the purge.Quote:

Personally, my favorite ending is Synthesis. Yes, this would mean that Saren Arterius was right, to an extent; that merging the organic with the inorganic is in fact the correct decision. Much of the Mass Effect trilogy rests on you making decisions, dealing with the consequences, and re-evaluating your stance on topics when given more information. Synthesis does not mean Saren was absolutely correct in his assertion, but he was on the right track.
Besides, after his experiences with the Geth and helping forge peace between them and the Quarians, would he really kill them without a second thought, as their entire fleet and species hangs in orbit trying to save your hide??

Are you kidding? Nothing to gain from converting Shepard? Shepard, who killed Saren and Sovereign. Who died and then was resurrected. Who stopped the Collectors and delayed the Reaper Invasion by blowing up a Mass Relay. Who managed to stop multiple Reaper takeovers of home planets and form a fighting force from the fractured Counsel races. Who (possibly) united the Geth and Quarians. You don't think the Reapers could at all benefit from having the single post powerful and influential organic in millienia on their side? That after years of exposing Shepard to Reaper technology he wasn't vulnerable to Harbingers direct influence from 50 feet away after being grazed by the beam and put into a weakened state? Harbinger could have killed Shepard outright, as explained in the videos I posted every single other beam Harbinger shot was a direct hit on the forces running for the Crucible and disintegrated them. But instead its clearly visible Harbinger did not target Shepard directly, instead trying to merely disable him so Harbinger could indoctrinate him easier.Quote:

As for myself, I know the political system is corrupt so thoroughly that only a total societal shift will change things. I kinda wanted the government shutdown to go on longer than this so people would finally get off their laurels and be angry. :\

Discussion is effectively taking a breather between doing something or relaxing. Long-winded, usually emotional rants about things that don't matter is something entirely different since it wastes energy, instead of replacing it, on things that serve no purpose at a time when such energies are crucial to our culture's survival.
If everyone were just talking about a game they enjoy or coming up with new theories or ways of looking at things, I'd have no problem, but this complex analysis and back and forth about nothing is saddening. Basically, the way people get UPSET and express themselves about such trivial things is what up sets me, not necessary the thinking of these things, which I used to do constantly, but never got angry about.
