They RARELY jam.
The M-16 was unreliable when first issued back in Vietnam. Since then, it has been redesigned and troops have been trained to clean and operate it. It won't jam until you try to jam it.
Sadly, that reputation just won't go away.

Hitpoints are also supposed to represent "cover" - Medics can influence that too apparently.
An even more asinine thing with hitpoints is "critical point failure" - what the hell is "1 hitpoint" supposed to represent and how come the unit is still able function like it was at 100% hitpoints? How come spell abilities don't take into account the "hitpoints representing dodging" when having an effect/no effect on the unit?
Well, given that the majority of this forum and this topic in particular are dedicated to what is essentially "shit that doesn't matter" anyway, I don't know why one would bother to ask such question after all this time.
