From logical deduction, we can assume that he played so much Starcraft that he became ill, and as a result from staying in the house so much, he was physically weak. As a result of being physically weak, he stabbed a girl repeatedly while failing to kill her OR induce any life threatening stabs.
Conclusion: This boy fails at both Starcraft and Life.
He was about to lose anyways, I pwned him :D
I hadn't expected a Swedish kid, I figured it would be a Korean one, or maybe Japanese.
Always blame the 15 yr old girl next door for your problems...
Completely understandable, a disconnect in the middle of a good bw match has made me want to do far worse
Ya know, if this was a World of Warcraft related stabbing, I'd be curious if the corpse dropped any loot.
Damn — I wanted to say something funny, but every way I word it, it just sounds too crude :(
Anyway, I hope she gets better, and I hope he gets help.
EDIT: lolz Gifted :D
Thanks to God girl wasn't wounded seriously.
And about the boy: I assume he was just an idiot. A MAJOR one.
Wow! that's fucking psycho
wicked sick!
Indeed, poor girl... and poor guy, if you can't control yourself you must be very ill. I assume the boy had some kind of mental disease, but it wasn't noticed until it was late. Maybe some kind of personality disorder
God's willing I hope this guy finds the light.Quote:

I find your God offensive.
I like StarCraft. And knives. :)
Clearly a rookie, I never get caught doing this. =(
Is there something amiss? I just mentioned God and you're as angry as the devil and the whole hell.
And that doesn't make you go berserk! I think that guy had some kind of mind disease. Are there demons nearby? Why not?
I just wished that guy stopped suffering and/or making others suffer. Anything wrong with it? There's already too much pain in this world.
Be warned: to read or not to read what follows, is something you must decide: If I were you I'd think it twice.
I don't think we need to start a cross war, if you want to live, let live, if you want to go, let go.

I don't hate you. I hate the ignorance that surrounds you. Even if there is a God, he has no place here.
Mayhap.
What you call ignorance may be something even harder for any human logic to understand.
However, I know there is a lot of confusion even among the ones who believe. Remember that the real enemy is the devil, and he has come to steal, kill, and destroy.
So, you say "even if there is a God, he has no place here".
If you don't want to open the door, he might not have place in your heart. However other people may be eager to do so.
But I think that your point is that we are not here to discuss this.
OK.
I think it just depends on how prepared is the people for it and if they want to accept it or not.

Matthew 7:6
K? K.
WTF, mate?
All I'm saying is StarCraft is full of "blasphemous" imagery and articles. It directly discounts God as nothing but Xel'Naga. I'm not debating the existence or non-existence of God, I'm saying he has no place in a discussion about a kid throwing a temper tantrum over StarCraft.
Why are you trying to convert me? How non sequitur.
Don't worry, if you're condemned to hell, just ask for a stick to beat angels with. It's a win-win scenario :D
Alright, I'm just going to end this right here.
The simple fact of the matter is that the kid was disturbed. Disappointing really, as it'll become another of the few events that encourage people like Jack Thompson to declare video games as evil and that they cause this type of reaction. The kid became obsessed in something, it was taken away, and he lashed out. Luckily the victim wasn't killed.
And a word to DemolitionSquid, and to all of you:
Throughout high school, my best friends and I were all of different religions and beliefs, and yet we got along wonderfully. Why? Because although we were from varying beliefs, we got along due to similar interests and whatnot, and respected the others' beliefs. We're all here because of our enjoyment of StarCraft, that's why we visit StarCraft: Legacy, and that's why we post in the forums. We're all different people, of different cultures and backgrounds. Although we're entitled to our beliefs, we have to respect those whose beliefs may differ. The StarCraft: Legacy staff tries to maintain a peaceful community for all who enjoy StarCraft and if a certain member or members create an unsolvable problem, they may find themselves no longer welcome here. The line is corny, but true: "Can't we all just get along?"
