Well look on the bright side. If those numbers ARE indeed canon, then your assertion about a Supercarrier group being able to wipe out the entire Dominion fleet wouldn't be so far-fetched after all. :D

The Dominion has only 50 battlecruisers, but can build an ecumenopolis in 4 years. It's not the first time Blizzard has a problem with their numbers not making sense...
Really, if she said they had 200 battlecruisers and that 199 battlecruisers were destroyed in Char, everyone would believe it.
I'm feeling jealous of you guys. If I want a copy of Flashpoint, I'm going to have to pay 38 dollars for it and wait up to 7 weeks until it arrive.
Just ignore it. The Protoss fleet has three different stated numbers anyways.
Sci-fi writers have no sense of scale :(
If the Dominion had only 50 battlecruisers, one wonders how many the KMC and UP have.
I'd suppose the KMC has had much of its fleet and military annexed by the Dominion, whereas I get the impression that the Umjoan Protectorate relies on smaller, more feasible craft.
In I, Mengsk the UP had a fleet, although the size was not given, and I'm pretty sure it included battlecruisers.
It's directly contradicted by the game anyways. There's more than 30 or so above Char in the final cinematic. Considering the battle cruisers death rate in the series, the number is totally bogus.
How many Battlecruisers we destroy in WoL alone? Of course, SC gameplay isn't ever "official", but in how many situations do we even face BCs?
Even if it is just Loki, it would mean destroying 2% of the Dominions Fleet with a single blow.
On Blizzard's side, if the whole dominion had only 50 BCs, it isn't that absurd that the Raiders, with one overpowered cruiser, could handle most encounters.
One wonders how the Dominion is still alive.
We know random pirate groups and mercenary outfits can field their own battlecruisers. Then we have Umojan Protectorate and the Kel-Morian Combine with their own battlecruisers. The we have the Protoss, who should be able to solo the entire fleet with like... a handful of carriers, let alone something as extravagant as a mothership (of which they have a fleet). And the zerg? They could've just overrun the Dominion in two seconds flat if they even tried haphazardly.
