It's kind of strange that canadians seem to have a disadvantage. Moreover I hope blizzard will make such a contest or similar one for europe too otherwise that would be kind of unfair and wouldn't make much sense since there are huge fan communities in europe too.

Yeah but wtf it's not like being in Canada stops them from giving is an email with numbers in it... Plus wouldn't they want to see if there is any lag with Canadians connecting to their servers?... maybe?
Edit: I have all 3 Blizzard Twitter accounts on my RSS feed (Diablo, Starcraft, and Warcraft), so if I hear that the keys have all been handed out I'll let everyone know.
It is indeed quite frustrating, but what shall one do. I'm just hoping, like many other fans to get a sc2 beta key somehow.
It sure is justified to complain, because such raffle contests will never be fair in your opinion if you don't win, but it won't help much. At least everyone has still a slight chance to achieve such a precious key. Let's see what blizzard is up to next.

Well if raffling seems fair to you then why are you upset about not winning a key, if someone else wins ? What I'm trying to say is that real fairness is very hard to define.
Of course raffling is 'fair' because everyone has (in this case should have) the same chances of winning.
